Huh, didn't know it had a specific legal definition (even if not in the US). I'd assumed it encompassed any use of influence for personal gain.

The link in the OP outlines no crimes. It presents a series of documents and selective quotes that purports to demonstrate Joe Biden's involvement in his family's "influence peddling schemes". Under scrutiny, the evidence pointing to Joe Biden's involvement ranges from tenuous to non-existent, and no actual crimes are presented. As I noted in an earlier post, "influence peddling," much like "collusion," is not a crime on its own. It's something that every single one of us does on a day-to-day basis. Any actual criminal acts would be in relation to how influence was being peddled, and how that peddled influence was used. There is no information presented on either of those fronts.

Corruption....you call it "influence peddling" because that sounds better but when you use the influence of your office for personal gain....that's Corruption.

Perhaps you didn't pay any attention IRS whistleblowers' testimony....but I did. These are experts on international tax evasion, money laundering, and fraud. They're claiming they had evidence of Biden having shell corporations and fraud/evasion/bribery etc....they were simply prevented from following up on it.

You may notice that the house ways and means committee promised to follow up on it.
