And what about the responses from Twitter execs, which were pressured to censor these "Russian bots" but said they had evidence that the accounts were not in fact Russian?
If Alice (or the Russians) is innocent of stealing the Queen's tarts, that does not imply she is innocent of all crimes.

Actually, this story was published in January 2023. What the media portrayed and what was happening behind the scenes at Twitter was quite different, as the now public emails show.

Yoel Roth (Twitter's former trust and safety czar) is quoted in one of the emails saying this:

The dashboard "falsely accuses a bunch of legitimate right-leaning accounts of being Russian bots," he wrote. "I think we need to just call this out on the bull---- it is."
Oh, someone besides your good self is stuck in the past?
How delightful. So what?

Um, OK.

So what "irrefutable evidence" is there?

I am continually astounded at the cavalier attitude people take toward blatant government propaganda.

My mind is but putty in Biden’s hands, enjoy being a “free-thinker”.

Pithy.

Government propaganda is not limited to one party. It's discouraging to see that the majority of people don't seem to care and are quite happy to let the government spew whatever nonsense they like.

So if your own party (assuming you're a Republican) says 'there's nothing here' then where do you get your information from that you trust?

I am an independent.

Information that can be corroborated with actual evidence is generally what I trust. Someone asserting that they have "irrefutable evidence" is meaningless to me unless I can see said evidence.

So where do you see Biden’s impeachment going?

Nowhere.

Sadly, I foresee that every President from here on out will likely face some kind of impeachment attempt as politicians of every political persuasion have completely lost the plot when it comes to impeachable offenses. I suspect that the attempted impeachment of a sitting President will become the new norm as people who just don't like the winning candidate will see it as a convenient method to try to unseat those they simply don't like.

So where is the evidence? On what are you basing your claims? Where is the information that you are using? Nobody else seems to have it, so I'm relying on you to give me authoratitive links to it.

I can't take you seriously when I've posted evidence and you've ignored it. Just look back a few posts.

Talking to people on the CF political forums be like:

Me: I want to talk about this red rubber ball.

Them: What red rubber ball? I don't see a red rubber ball! You're going to have to post some evidence that the red rubber ball exists before I can comment on it!

As Belk points out, 'collusion' is not a crime. So people like Papadopoulos and Manafort went to prison for things like lying to the FBI about colluding with Russian agents and Russian interests. Others, like Mike Flynn, were pardoned before sentencing, so didn't make it to prison.
And of course, by accepting the pardon, they admitted that they were guilty.

I think that it’s a fad that will fade after the kooky times we are in subside and we can get back to the business of lurching two steps forward, one step back (and to the right, apparently).

Politics is difficult, yes.
Most people just want someone to do “something” but cannot specify exactly what and will leave it up to the guy who thinks that he alone can “fix it”.
Our nation has always worked via compromise and negotiation, those qualities were shoved to the side of the road when religionists got a taste of political power.

"McCarthy has previously said he would not launch an inquiry without a vote by the full house."

This is a capitulation to the 'Freedom Caucus', and the party will be the worse for it. So.... good.

...just as he captiulated after January 6th when he went to visit his highness in Maralago.

I keep forgetting there are people who still believe that Russia hacked our elections.

Maybe there are "people" who believe that Russia "hacked" our elections. I have not seen that argued here....at all.

Apart from an opinion piece on YouTube, you linked to a Twitter account that related to a single hashtag about the Nunes document. Is that it?

You have your work cut out for you because it's difficult proving a negative. But you're not in a position to say 'Russia wasn't involved in any way.' All you can say is that you haven't yet seen any evidence that, in your opinion, proves there was interference. Despite the collosal amount of info in the 2020 report (and there is some redaction but nowhere near what would prevent you from reading it).

The Senate (GOP led) issued a report about Russian interference in the 2016 Presidential election.
I guess that doesn’t count though because…?
