I tend to believe if there is no proof of Biden taking millions under the table, it is unwise to continue making false accusations against Biden.

Evidence Of Biden Burisma Corruption Is Overwhelming

I'm sure you saw the video where Joe bragged about getting the Ukrainian prosecutor fired.

"It took just a few short months before Shokin was fired. Joe Biden bragged in a public speech in January 2018 that he was personally responsible for getting that firing accomplished so quickly. In fact, he claimed he had bullied the Ukrainian government into firing the investigator by threatening to withhold a billion-dollar loan guarantee unless he got what he wanted."

Why did Joe want Shokin fired? Because he was investigating Burisma. And Burisma hired Hunter at $83,000 per month, despite Hunter having no relevant energy experience.

We know Hunter was funneling half the money to the "big guy."

"But Hunter complained in a text to his daughter in 2019 that 'half' his salary went on paying his father's bills"

Hunter is not that smart. His cut from the Burisma deal should have been 10% because Joe did all the real work. Instead, he got 50% and complained about it.

According to the report"
“After months of political stunts, dozens of hearings, transcribed interviews, and memos, and despite hours on Fox peddling conspiracy theories, Comer and his Maga crew have failed to find a single shred of evidence linking President Biden to any of their lurid accusations,”

You assert that the evidence is overwhelming, and the report dismisses the evidence. Who to believe? Bragging about a firing does not mean that is evidence of corruption. Hiring Hunter Biden for something he was not experienced at is not proof of corruption. Complaining about paying half of his father's bills is not evidence of corruption. Granted, they look suspicious and perhaps worth taking a closer look. However we should assume the Congressional Integrity Project would have taken this all into account before determining there is no evidence. At this point, it appears like you and many others dismiss their findings simply because they do not support what you and many others believe to be true. The onus is on you and the others to find concrete evidence, and not just dismiss the findings and refuse to accept. Until then, accusing the President of wrongdoing without concrete evidence is unwise.

No one was convicted of colluding with Russia
Of course not, everyone knows that collusion is just a colloquial term that refers to a number of actual crimes. Typically retreats to "there wasn't collusion" are an attempt to use this sort of word play to imply that there was nothing behind the Russian attempts to interfere with the election, which again, we know is obviously not true.

This is really bemusing. There is no evidence, there is no proof, there aren't any investigations that show any wrongdoing but yet it's true!

Just...what?
Well, they keep saying it on Fox News, they'd never lie.

Why did Joe want Shokin fired?

Because that was the stated position of the United States government, and President Obama had made Biden his point-man on Ukraine. Likewise other international observers had come to the same conclusion that Shokin was not investigating corruption.

How many times must people here have to answer this question? I've seen it at least a dozen times. Perhaps a moderator can make a sticky so when the question will undoubtedly be asked again in the future they will look there....

And? Nothing corrupt about firing a corrupt prosecutore.

Because Shokin was corrupt. There is an entire thread here on this. You really need to catch up.

Hunter had already been cleared.

A 3rd grader could prove this case. Why not Comer?

I'm guessing the FBI has inside information on Republican corruption. Either the Republicans play ball or else. So we get stupid investigators who never find anything. And not just here. They never find anything, ever.

...meanwhile, more spineless leadership from the "leader" of the house:

"House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said Tuesday he is directing House committees to open an impeachment inquiry into President Biden, amid pressure from some hard-right members of the Republican caucus to do so.

“These are allegations of abuse of power, obstruction and corruption and warrant further investigation by the House of Representatives,” McCarthy told reporters Tuesday morning. “That’s why today I am directing our House committee to open a formal impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.”

Opens an impeachment inquiry based on unsubstantiated "allegations"?

"McCarthy has previously said he would not launch an inquiry without a vote by the full house."

This is a capitulation to the 'Freedom Caucus', and the party will be the worse for it. So.... good.

Maybe he only finished the second grade....

Or there is no evidence. This is the correct answer. The problem is they worked the right into a lather saying they have the goods on Biden, but they really did not. They keep lying to their constituency, and their constituency continues to fall for it.

Do they? Are you saying the FBI is extorting the republicans? Do you have any evidence, or just throwing out wild accusations void of evidence?

I keep forgetting there are people who still believe that Russia hacked our elections. I guess the media propaganda campaign was a little too successful at fooling some people and it's hard to give up on this particular conspiracy theory despite no credible evidence.

They (the Russians) did?

The evidence would suggest otherwise. I highly recommend you read these email from the Twitter files.

THE RUSSIAGATE LIES
One: The Fake Tale of Russian Bots and the #ReleaseTheMemo Hashtag
2. At a crucial moment in a years-long furor, Democrats denounced a report about flaws in the Trump-Russia investigation, saying it was boosted by Russian “bots” and “trolls.”
3. Twitter officials were aghast, finding no evidence of Russian influence: “We are feeding congressional trolls.”
“Not any…significant activity connected to Russia.”
“Putting the cart before the horse assuming this is propaganda/bots.”
4. Twitter warned politicians and media they not only lacked evidence, but had evidence the accounts weren’t Russian – and were roundly ignored.

The receipts are all there if you want to see them.

While the media and politicians were running around chanting Russia, Russia, Russia! like some kind of disgruntled Jan Brady, they neglected to mention that there was no credible evidence for any of their incessant and baseless allegations.

Yes.

The Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday released the final report on its investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, finding numerous contacts between the Trump campaign and Moscow posed a “grave” counterintelligence threat.

“We found irrefutable evidence of Russian meddling,” Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., acting chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, said in a statement, directly refuting President Donald Trump’s repeated assertions that Russian interference was a “hoax” perpetrated by Democrats.

What "Irrefutable evidence"? If you read the report, ridiculously large portions of that "irrefutable evidence" is redacted. Do you have anything more concrete than what politicians have said about it?

And what about the responses from Twitter execs, which were pressured to censor these "Russian bots" but said they had evidence that the accounts were not in fact Russian?

Holy 2017 Batman!

Actually, this story was published in January 2023. What the media portrayed and what was happening behind the scenes at Twitter was quite different, as the now public emails show.

Yoel Roth (Twitter's former trust and safety czar) is quoted in one of the emails saying this:

The dashboard "falsely accuses a bunch of legitimate right-leaning accounts of being Russian bots," he wrote. "I think we need to just call this out on the bull---- it is."
