Again, Pence took an oath to uphold the Constitution, not his party. Not his administration. Not his president.

Anyone who places himself above the Consitution should NEVER be POTUS. That is a baseline requirement for any person seeking public office.

Yet today, GOP voters continue to support a man who has demonstrated in words and actions that he has no respect for our Constitution nor the office of the Presidency. A man who is facing 91 criminal chages in Federal and State courts.

Who would have ever imagined so many Americans would place their loyalty to a single man over the US Constitution?

While it is true that the Speaker of the House traditionally does not cast a vote in ordinary floor votes, then certainly can and not just to break ties. I do not know if Speaker Pelosi voted in the Jan 6th challenges, but I suspect she did.

Pence should have been convicted as a traitor against his own administration and against himself. We are told that a new governent is coming. We will rule and reign with Christ for 1,000 years. We do not know how we will transition from one to the next. Although we are told God will step in to keep the world from destroying itself.

Mike Pence and all those who hold elected office swear an oath to the Constitution, NOT to an individual or president. That's what makes our country unique. Whether one agrees with what he did or not, (and He did the right thing, his job,) he did not swear a loyalty oath to Donald Trump. Further, how would conservatives have reacted had Joe Biden refused to count the electoral college votes for Donald Trump in January 2017 and instead rejected them-which he would have had no authority to do? In 2017 there were Democratic congresspeople objecting to the certification of Donald Trump's electoral college votes, and I even remember reading that some electors were being pressured not to vote for Donald Trump back in 2016-2017.

I read he was not @ the capital that day. The tone/attitude from MSM you'd think a heavily armed rogue army murdered a bunch of Democrats . But it was the complete opposite. They had no guns, and there were only 2 people (unarmed Republican female protesters) killed.
