It is made by multiple people. AI is kind of a misnomer since it is less AI and more advanced machine learning. The big players are all the tech companies. Microsoft, IBM, Apple, Nvidia, ...

Surely these big corporations have my best interest at heart! No way they put the acquisition of money over morals! I have no doubt they respect the individual liberties and freedom of others.

I am extremely suspicious of AI. Sure, that could mostly be based on ignorance of how it works and my inability to fully comprehend what it's doing internally, but its still made by a person. So who makes it?

Just imperfect men. And so it would not be surprising that AI has displayed some bias. People have been testing it and showing clips of all the various answers it gives them.

Most are lost or are mislead unfortunately, then there are those who are very educated and ever worse off, Romans 1:22 talks about them.

Now if AI could be programed to follow, lets say the dictates of sermon on the mount only, then the world would be a much better place.

One would have to define smart and by whose/what standard, we are to be wise but not in our own eyes.

There's too much on the internet to sort by hand. This is why many parties are interested in using AI to improve search and filter out disinformation.

I have encountered this problem myself. Doing research on the internet in the past couple of years has been alot harder because of the sheer volume of commercial traffic and social media sites. At one time, the Internet was more focused on actual information.

AI can be trained to detect disinformation.

The alternative is to simply be swamped by garbage and be unable to separate out anything.
