I have zero interest in holding your hand through a thread, especially given somebody else took the time to do so already. If you choose to turn a blind eye to somebody else’s behavior, that’s 100% a you problem and 0% a me problem. So you don't deny. Got it.
You and I and everybody knows you saw that picture and realized that the one that was chosen was one that only showed of poor people of color.Excuse me? Are you suggesting that I'm a liar now? This after you just insinuated someone else was a racist?
Do tell, what you think I'm being dishonest about.
Wow.You and I and everybody knows you saw that picture and realized that the one that was chosen was one that only showed of poor people of color.
Or are we going to play the “I don’t see color” card to complete the illusion of ignorance?
Whether the post in question was racist or not, I don't know, but it would be great if you and other forum staff would do more to correct inaccuracies, stifle propaganda, and elevate the level of thoughtful discourse here, instead of doing the opposite - propagating errors, pushing propaganda, and playing games with people - all of which are extremely common, and it's often left to the rest of the members to correct these errors.A picture says a thousand words. I didn't see brown people in that picture. I saw some poverty, and I saw struggling facial expressions.
...But if someone sees "brown people" that's on them. And it's *wrong* to insinuate that's what others see.
I see that’s one vote for continuing to feign ignorance.Wow.
I can't believe what I'm reading is real.
And I can't believe that you're defending this.Wow.
I can't believe what I'm reading is real.
I sure can. I almost expect nothing less. And I can't believe that you're defending this.
To a hammer, everything looks like a nail. And I can't believe that you're defending this.
“I’m not the problem, it’s all the people I lump into groups who are the problem.”To a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
To the woke, everything looks like racism.
I never said it was racism. As pointed out in posts 40 and 48, racist or not, it's indefensible. To a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
To the woke, everything looks like racism.
I've already asked you to provide a plausible, alternate interpretation of the post in question. Got any ideas? To the woke, everything looks like racism.
I am not white. And even less a racist, so before you start waving the race card, you should know your audienceThat assumption smacks of racism. You act like Latin American countries can't have space programs or be interested in rocket science. Both are wrong.
To a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
To the woke, everything looks like racism.
Why? Why do you want to see and autistic immigrant, who used his disabilities to become a genius want to lose what he has earned, or be imprisoned?good choices on both accounts.
I am not white. And even less a racist, so before you start waving the race card, you should know your audience
Makes wonder how someone can look past the fact the crown was a majority woman and children all you see is race. Sad, really sad
The economic crisis in Venezuela, partly driven by sanctions, isn't helping, either. What isn't being discussed is why are lots of "brown people", indios, having to cross the border in the first place. The effects of environmental changes and the legacy of colonialism and the exploitation of their land by foreign agribusiness interests never factors in.
During COVID, for instance, there were beef shortages in the US, so alot of these people, who basically don't have any formal titles to their land, were forced off their land by wealthy agribusiness interests, so that Americans could continue to enjoy their beef:

Nah, they won't. Anyone who opposes illegal immigration is a racist. You see everyone who comes across the border is a refugee and a legal one. It's all about the fact we hate brown people. I mean if it were white people doing it we'd be all for it right? So, essentially, you're calling a specific poster a racist, even though he never said or suggested the things you're charging him of.
...You better chiggidy check yourself, before you wreck yourself! Because made-up stories are bad for your health.
