We're not talking of a league table of malapropisms or occasional slips of the lip. Bush would be a front runner there. And when you are being filmed, taped, quoted and televised 24/7 I don't think there's anyone among us who couldn't be shown to have misspoke on times. It's what you say and how you say it. How you 'articulate' it. He is, without any doubt at all, simply awful at it.

If you were to pick one word that would describe his manner of speaking, even acting, 'presidential' wouldn't be on anyone's list. Unless you were being satirical.

I've no dog in this fight. But to just pick up on that one comment, he is the most inarticulate president I have ever listened to (12 and counting). By far. Daylight second. No-one is is the same league. In fact, I am struggling to think of any leader anywhere at any time that could compare.

That explains your Trump disconnect anyway, whereas his millions of supporters like what he says and understands him completely. I would have expected the rest of the English-speaking world to agree and give such an honor to Biden with all his gaffes (word-salad Harris second). Your elevation of Biden in that regard is totally confusing to me. Sorry, but I don't get your 'Daylight' comment either.

It is a pretty bad indictment of the voters in GOP primaries, but I don't see anything particularly wrong with the reasoning.
I mean, sure, Biden's no Obama or Clinton, but compared to someone committed to political violence to keep himself in power it's not even a choice. Kind of a don't hate the player, hate the game situation.
