Paypal.com is fining members thousands. I was a Paypal member for fifteen years. Like many corporations in these end times, they went woke. They have made statements warning members of posting anti-left-wing comments on the internet. When I confirmed this, I deleted my account with them. I will not rejoin their left-winged banking just to subscribe on here. I guess I need to tolerate the ridiculous pop-up on here since that is the only way to pay on here.

This was some kind of error message. According to the error message, this was supposed to go into effect in November 2022, and it never did.

PayPal says policy to fine customers for 'misinformation' was an 'error'

PayPal Holdings Inc said on Monday it will not fine users for misinformation and an earlier policy update that said customers could have to pay $2,500 in damages was sent in error.

Did you watch all the video that you posted, see the video at 3:00 mins. It clearly says that PayPal said it was a mistake.

I didn't finish watching it because I started looking into the situation when I got up to around 1:30. So basically the title of the video is misleading and it took them 3 minutes to start saying what Reuters said right away.

CF lists paypal at the top of its donation page, but if you scroll down just a bit, one can see that they also have the option to use their debit or credit card

No, I asked if you believe what Paypal said in response to the public communicating (warning) their left-winged agenda.

1. I have one email address that I only use for personal bills & banking. It is not used for any social media.
2. I have a different email address for each of many broad topics that I follow: RL friends & family, hobby, intellectual pursuits, tech, etc. And I use screen names everywhere,
   
   so nothing remotely controversial will track back to my PayPal account.
3. My Capital One credit card service has a feature that will generate vendor-specific credit card numbers that will not work for any other vendor (for a fraudulent purchase) even if hacked. And it keeps my real Cap1 CC numbers off of the internet. (Amazon does not accept PayPal.)
4. I also have a checking account that I normally keep $2 in which I use for internet purchases. If I want to buy a $50 item online, I add $50 to that account and give out that debit card number. (Be sure to turn off its overdraft protection.) If someone attempts to draw above and beyond the $50, it bounces.

How were you ripped off? I've been using Paypal for many years and never had a reason for complaint.
