Here is a ammonite fossil at least 65 million years old I obtained from my uncle who was geophysicist.

The white residue was aragonite converted to a stable calcite in a process called permineralization which requires the presence of water permeating through sedimentary layers and is the most common fossilization process.
These fossils are found in sedimentary rocks.

You can put hardner in cement or plaster and get it to set up in five or ten minutes. It does not take long to make a rock. I have worked on 100 year old houses and the 2 by 4 's were already hard as a rock. It does not happen very often but I have seen it. Most likely they used wood that was still green and did not dry out properly.

Not at all. The creation is sound. What a historical group of people who very much did not have a clear picture or knowledge of the wider world around them, that was very much flawed.

Science has opened up a different Creation story, one that the Earth itself is showing us. On the other hand, it's the Creation story of an ancient pre-Jewish middle-east tribe of desert dwellers that is to be questioned.
