First the Bible is literal and then symbolic. Noah's flood is symbolic of the six world wide floods that have taken place since the beginning of this planet. Esp the flood at Pangea at the time of the dinosaurs. There have also been 6 extinctions. The most recent was around 12,000 years ago. God always preserves a remnant to repopulate the earth. It is in our DNA. In fact we carry the DNA in us of everything that has ever lived on the Planet.

Ancient history is based on archeology. It does not contain the revisionism of modern history. I think one of the biggest offenders is PBS esp when that Harvard Professor is involved. The number I come up with is 6025. Adam was born or created on the feast of tabernacles in 4004 BC according to Bishop Ussher. Jesus' ministry was 33 years and it is believed that Adam "died" at the age of 33 in 3,972 BC. So - 3,972 plus 6000 takes us to 2,029. That year the church age will be 2000 years from the first Pentecost.

1. That's not a flood. It's an ice age. Don't alter terms to fit some narrative you have.

Regarding the sea fossils in the mountains, they were deposited when those land areas were much lower. We can see signs that the mountains were pushed up over time.

Floods leave distinct layered deposits, with the largest stones on the bottom, gravel above it, and fine clay on top. We find no sign of a global flood layer. We would certainly expect to see this if the Earth had flooded.

Regarding the cutting of the Grand Canyon in a young Earth, that is a big problem for you. How exactly was that canyon cut so rapidly through solid rock? We have millions of years available for the water to work. You don't.

Every non-avian dinosaur we find is in rocks older than 60 million years old. Every hominid fossil is in rocks younger than 10 million years old. Can you explain why this is so?

That is the way archetypes and allegories work. Look at Walt Disney and the story of Cinderalla. Do you think that she is the ONLY girl in the history of the human species to have a stepmother and step sisters? Why is the warrior princess so popular to the point where almost all the female heroes in Disney are warrior princesses? Because this is something that people can relate to. This is something they can identify with.

The Bible is absolute truth. But if you go to the library half the books are fiction. If you go to the movie almost 100% of what you see is fiction. If people can relate to and identify with fiction, how much more can they identify with and relate to the truth. The Bible is 100% accurate and truth. Science can verify this.

And no, it's not all theory and conjecture. It's based on investigation, testing and observation. There was no global flood. God's creation doesn't show it at all.
