I think some people enjoy conspiracy theories so much that they fantasize about them no matter where they come from.

I'm sure the House Republicans would be very interested in launching a major investigation into just who was responsible for starting the skepticism on the ownership of the laptop. Somebody must have been behind it all, and that person or persons must be stopped before the ownerships of more laptops are called into question.

Mr. Biden said on the presidential campaign trail that he has never spoken to his son about his business dealings, though some of the contents on the laptop suggest otherwise, including a voicemail from Joe himself.

Data from a laptop that the lawyer for a Delaware computer repair shop owner says was left by Hunter Biden in 2019 – and which the shop owner later provided to the FBI under subpoena – shows no evidence of tampering or fabrication, according to an independent review commissioned by CBS News.

Brian Della Rocca, the lawyer for the shop owner, provided to CBS News what he called an "exact copy" of the laptop data provided to federal investigators nearly three years ago.

In a 31-page interim report, Mr. Comer began laying out evidence that he says demonstrates the president’s abuse of his position for personal gain and to obstruct an investigation into his involvement in his son’s business dealings.


Citing evidence obtained from Hunter Biden’s laptop and through whistleblowers, Mr. Comer said his committee had uncovered a “decade-long pattern of influence peddling, national security risks, and political cover-ups” committed by the Biden family with the direct knowledge and involvement of the president.


The report claims Mr. Biden was directly involved in his family’s business deals, including those involving foreign interests, despite claiming he had no knowledge of the details.


“That is a lie,” Mr. Comer said Thursday. “Whistleblowers describe President Biden as the chairman of the board for these businesses. He personally participated in meetings and phone calls. Documents show that he was a partner with access to an office.


“To be clear, Joe Biden is the big boss,” he said.
