On Fox News he said that it was unprecedented for a President to take all this classified documents back home.
He said that these documents belong to the government and should be in the archives even if they are classified and even if they are covered by executive privilege.
He asked how long should the government go on asking for them back?
He said that Trump and his lawyers "jawboned" for a year and deceived the DOJ and FBI and weren't giving all the documents voluntarily.
He said the DOJ got a subpoena but Trump and his team deceived them still.
Barr said that the facts are starting to show that the DOJ and FBI were being jerked around.

Now of course Bill Barr isn't the definitive authority on Truth. So you are welcome to challenge these points and perhaps offer some links as to why you don't consider these points to be valid.
