Hence why I asked what counted as a qualification?

If you wanted his whole resume, then you would see that Darwin didn't have degrees in any of the fields that we see as being relevant to evolution today. But since he studied natural history, a term which back in the Victorian era encapsulated ALL of nature and the science known at the time therein, he would have been more than qualified to suggest the idea at th time that humans came from Africa.

Hence: No... but also yes.

False. "Academia" deduce their conclusions against the available data and evidence and check whether it is in agreement with new incoming data and evidence.

Darwin has been proven wrong by his own words. He said that if there were no intermediary species found then his theory was wrong, there were no intermediary species found! What we have today is a bunch of idiots(in my opinion) who keep trying to prove Darwin right when they know he was wrong. Darwin raised pigeons and therefore knew that alteration in species through breeding did occur, he found this out also on a ship voyage when he noticed alterations in species that had been separated for some time. The rest of his work was his imagination of what he thought could occur in a Godless world where everything happened without a reason or power. He was wrong, our world is a creation by a Creator.

The only parts of that sentence that was true was that Darwin went on a voyage and that the world was created by God.
Everything else was horribly and utterly wrong.
