When I see the rolling hills that traverse the landscape and the great mountains that line the costs I see a great flood that changed the face of the earth. The weight of Noah's flood would have been so heavy that it cracked the continental shelves and formed the mountains and continents that we have today. As the water subsided and flooded the lower areas the hills weer formed just like ripples in the sand. So I see the largest landscaping event since the start of the creation itself. God has presented to us the evidence on the ground that we stand upon.

Anyone is free to mention any number of gods that they deem necessary for the education of the children.

If it's a religious studies class I don't see a problem with it, but why would God need to be brought up in a science class? Isn't that starting off an art class with a discussion of how to warm up for exercises? or starting a woodworking class with a discussion about covalent bonds in atoms? It simply isn't relevant for the subject.

Scientists and teachers have private lives too, in which they can discuss religion, spirituality and what ever they want without fear of losing they job.

If it's a religious studies class I don't see a problem with it

Scientists and teachers have private lives too, in which they can discuss religion, spirituality and what ever they want without fear of losing they job.

And they should be allowed to express their interest at work too. I worked in a hospital for a time and there were a few doctors that nealed in the corner of the room daily during their shift to pray no problem there.

Depends on which year of school, but if it was in Secondary school, I would've probably asked for proof of that statement, (or at least asked which textbook that was in).

I would be more than surprised if they all do of course one must be realistic as far as the teacher's personal viewpoint on the subject of religion. The schools have to watch out for parents that may find the subject taboo for their children. Start talking about God in a crowd and there is always someone that gets upset.

Because the solar system being one of God's creations is a personal religious belief from the science teacher and does not belong in a class that is teaching students science.

And if I was the teacher of that class I would refer the student to a biblical class as they don't have to believe or already know about everything. eg: The roses smell lovely this morning class today's lesson is all about botany. Which tex book is that in sir.

The teacher shouldn't be including anything in the lesson if he has to refer them to another teacher when they ask about it.

Sounds like that class would benefit from a stern robotic teacher that is programmed to specifics only.
