No king, Sumerian or otherwise, lived thousands of years.
The oldest man who ever lived was Methuselah, who lived 969 years.No.
They were men ... people ... human beings.I agree.I agree.I disagree.
If there's a list of Sumerian kings that says they lived thousands of years, then that list is as bogus as the Challenger was GO with throttle-up, or Thalidomide was a prenatal wonder drug.
The Australian magpie is are nasty aggressive bird during breeding season.I quite like them. They are rather pretty, and they are said to be intelligent.
Only on paper. The sumerian kings list suggests they lived for thousands of years.
I'll stand behind the Bible on that one.Isaiah 41:10 said:Who are you to say it's untrue?
I think there might be significant variations across the different types with the degree of aggression during breeding/nesting season(?)I quite like them. They are rather pretty, and they are said to be intelligent.
The Noisy Miners give 'em a run for their money. Those things are perpetually aggro. They are territorial birds and will attack other birds much larger even in mid flight.
The only bird I have noticed that fights back and usually wins is the Wattlebird pictured.
As stated in the video when magpies become familiar with you they will leave you alone even during breeding season. The Noisy Miners give 'em a run for their money. Those things are perpetually aggro.
You guys do know that even a staunch evolutionist would agree that there were dinosaurs on the Ark, don't you?The Noisy Miners give 'em a run for their money. Those things are perpetually aggro.
There's one exception, but I'm struggling to think what it is. Can you help me out?Anyone can say anything if they have a product to sell.
<snip>
And Sumeria was no exception.
Citation please? You guys do know that even a staunch evolutionist would agree that there were dinosaurs on the Ark, don't you?
Do you really need a citation?Citation please?
Who are you to say the Book of Mormon is not true,
Only on paper.I'll stand behind the Bible on that one.

I don't know. Why would the sumerian kings list give long ages of kings if that's not actually how long they had lived?
They don't. They say we are apes. Because we are.Why would scientists say we came from apes?
How does this relate to sumerian kings living thousands of years? Are you saying that they were angels?
My thought is that, because the sumerian kings list has kings that are said to have lived tens of thousands of years, it would make more sense that people didn't actually live this long and that these long ages instead represented some form of significance of the individual, rather than truly representing their age. Because I would guess that a human being never actually lived 60,000 years. The same perhaps applies to Genesis with it's long ages.
