Paul is sent to the gentiles with the Acts 15:20 message.Yes. You are correct only those who are born again will see the kingdom of God. So how does one get born again?
\
John 12:23 But Jesus answered them, saying, "The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified. 24 Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. NKJV
When Jesus died He became the seed of God. In another place He said “ I go to prepare a place you”. Which meant now people could be born f4om above.
1 John 3:9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. NKJ
As long as His Spirit remains in a person they cannot sin.
Galatians 3:26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. NKJV
As the seed of God Jesus can give birth to a spirit in those who have faith in Him,. In the OT God called the Nation of Israel sons but until Jesus came God could have no true sons (other than Jesus). That is why the OT saints had to wait for Jesus' death to be allowed entry into heaven. Jesus prepared a place for all OT saints and NT saints at the same time.
"But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols,
and [from] fornication, and [from] things strangled, and [from] blood."
Therefore, much more is expected of the circumcision who were taught the Laws of the Kingdom, in the Sermon on the Mount.
David's repentant prayer, after Bathsheba:
Psalms 51:1-17 9 Turn away thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit in my inward parts. 11 Cast me not away from Thy presence; and remove not Thy Holy Spirit from me. 12 Restore to me the joy of Thy salvation: establish me with Thy directing Spirit.LXX
This is literally born-from-above:
Matthew 3:15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer [it] now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered Him. 16 And Jesus, when He was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto Him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting upon Him: 17 And lo a voice from Heaven, saying, This is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased.
John 3:5-7 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born from above.
The Holy Spirit, in the Gospel of the Kingdom, comes to us if we keep the Commandments of Jesus. Born of the Spirit IS born-from-above, in this Gospel.
John 14:15 If ye love Me, keep My Commandments and I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter that he may abide with you for ever: the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him; but ye know him, for he dwelleth with you and shall be in you.
