Lots of people still do here. They do not want to be tied to tech when it comes to important payments.
You may not have heard that most businesses spurred on by a cashless period during the pandemic, seemingly at the behest of the WEF, are saying they will no longer be accepting cheques shortly. This of course to further advance digital identity in all it's oppressive glory

That is how the Adversary works, slow and easy so folks take no sudden notice of how the world changes

That may be true, but in this case, I don't equate one system of moving money around with the Adversary, more than another. The culture which encourages us to worship money, in whatever format, however...

Man, it would be nice if I didn't have so many psychological issues. Especially when I feel that some people do not take them seriously enough.

Any culture that promotes self interest at the expense of others first.

A waterwheel, instead of paddles it has buckets,

the wheel turns and the buckets that have emptied out and are now submersed

come up full they reach the top and tip out contents and proceed down again.

If the buckets do not empty they go down full and come up full,

but with the same they went down with.

Who wants to live on stale food, it gets moldy.

That reminds me of a poem by Rumi:

Stay together, friends.
Don't scatter and sleep.

Our friendship is made
of being awake.

The waterwheel accepts water
and turns and gives it away,
weeping.

That way it stays in the garden,
whereas another roundness rolls
through a dry riverbed looking
for what it thinks it wants.

Stay here, quivering with each moment
like a drop of mercury.

Set my clocks ahead. Waiting for warm weather so I can take my walks along the river.

Saw today a little string of crocus, they saw a little weak, even a little bee buzzing around them.

The grass looks as dead as ever though.

So I’m kind of hyped up and nervous. My stepdad’s hands and feet are going numb. I think it is a side effect of the chemo but not sure. We definitely need to bring it up Monday with his doctor. Trying to get my mind off of it but it’s difficult to do.

Frustrating.

Psalms 42:7

Rashi- When one calamity is almost over it is as if it calls for the next one to come.

True; but I'd like to hope that one might at least get little pauses between calamities!

Well, it was not meant to sound indifferent, more as a comfort.

But we all tick differently, would seem.
