CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This is what I know: My own aunt never got much attention from guys. Then one day she came home so excited she had met someone at work. I think she was in her 30s when they got married.

My parents are at my house. They are helping me clean up after my bathroom got torn up due to a leaky pipe. They will still be there when I get home. We are having pizza for dinner. I am so blessed to have good parents.

I haven't been very patient waiting. God's entrusted me to some things while I wait & I've blown it too many times. It'd be easier being patient if I knew for sure he would fulfill it. But I have to be patient! Even if nothing ever comes from it, he's entrusted me responsibilities & given me all I need.

I can't concentrate. I am too sad. God won't ever allow me to date. I should read my books but it's too hard. I wish something wasn't wrong w/ me. I wish someone had told me I would never be allowed to date. It will never change.
