CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

There were a lot of couples at Bible Study last night. It made me sad.
Shortly before seeing this particular post from you, I felt compelled to pray for your peace from loneliness and sorrow, Miss Lion, that the Lord will put someone into your life soon who would love you and think the world of you, but also if that somehow cannot happen for you, then the Lord Himself and His manner of love and grace will prove enough to fill any void for you and give you peace even while physically alone.
But in the meantime please try to be happy for those you see around you who have found peace in love with someone, rather than sorrowful. Surely they do not mock you or look down upon you in any way for still being alone (even if it might be tempting to imagine that they do secretly judge you for it, as I was at one time in my past tempted to think)? There is nothing wrong with you just for not having someone yet, so please don't feel sad or alienated when you are around couples; there are just as many people in your position of remaining alone as there are those you see already with someone and/or have had seemingly endless chances at romance. You aren't alone in this.

I mean the other channel, the Christian songs reminded me too much of romance songs, not that they weren't Christian songs.

As Christians we are called to wait eagerly & w/ expectation God will provide what we need. But it's hard for me to believe God will help w/ this.
