I'm finally back after a long day and family is away for the weekend...I get the house all to myself!! ALL TO MYSELF!! YAYYYY!!!

My thermal of tea that I forgot is still warm too. Ahh!!

Now what to do with myself....

I'm so jealous. I can't remember the last time I had the house to myself.

Yeah, it is always nice!! I miss living mostly on my own, which I got a taste of for a few years. This last year I moved back with family after my youngest sister gave birth to help her with the baby, and it wasn't easy for me to adjust.

How about everyone brings a dish of their own and I'll bake ginger snap cookies or something. I was thinking of binge watching the "Lord of the Rings" movies, but now I'm thinking of looking up some older movies.

I forgot the coffee that I made in a coffee mug and thermos. I remembered as I got to a traffic light before a coffee shop. I stopped off to get coffee and was a little late so worked a little bit longer. I feel for you.

OMM: confused as to why I was given a dozen donuts from Krispy Kreme when my coupon says good for a glazed donut for my birthday.

I had walked into the Krispy Kreme for the first time but they only had mobile pickup in there. I asked the sky what I need to do for the free birthday donut. He said to go through the drive-thru and they would take care of it. At the drive-up window I asked this really young guy if that box was for one donut. He said that it was a dozen. I questioned how it could be a dozen, another guy leaned through the window that had been helping me when I walked in and said no it's a free dozen for your birthday.

But reading everything I have seen it looks like it's one donut. So I'm very confused. I brought the box of donuts over to my folks place and took two for myself. I gobbled it in no time when I got home, that's the reason that I can't have the whole box, haha.

Another thing on my mind, I sometimes wonder how old others see me as I saw many young teenagers at the shopping mall. There were some very strange outfits, things have really changed, I even saw a couple that looked like anime style that I have seen in Japan. I saw a guy dressed in a rainbow costume also with another girl checking out prom dresses, the prom dresses were gorgeous I wanted to try them on. But I will wait for them to go to a resale shop. So these young people were looking at me, but I think it's because I was wearing a skirt and socks and fur boots, because of my knee being wrapped up. I was all dressed up in the upper portion but the lower portion probably look like a bag lady, haha. Or I could be setting a new trend, think of the girl from The breakfast club.

Yay for so many donuts!!! That sounds amazing!!!

And I bet you just looked that fabulous that they couldn't help but look at you! Or at least that's usually the reason why I catch myself looking at people...admiring their style!!

Oh no!! It really isn't fun to forget these things!! It's good you were able to stop and get some more!!! And thank you so much!!! I am a bit too sensitive to caffeine in the mornings, so I find herbal teas to be very helpful in soothing my nerves and fatigue when I have to be up extra early, but fortunately it wasn't too bad without it this morning and I came home to my tea still warm in the thermal 8 hours later.

And I would expand upon that. They may have decided to give you more than you expected on a whim because you charmed them, @sampa . And I do not mean that superficially. Judging by your behavior on here, I can only imagine that in real life wherever you go you have a way about you that just naturally makes people react in ways like doing small favors to be nicer to you than might be expected according to the societal setting: in this case of being served at a donut shop, simply giving you more donuts than your birthday freebie called for. You obviously have grace, beauty, and a sense of style, but more than that you likely are friendly and charming everywhere you go, and that cannot help but compel many of the people you encounter to react favorably in some way.

aww... Actually I think it was a combination. With the kn5 black mask I do look younger and it gives my eyes pop. But I could hear younger people giggling behind me because my legs were exposed, I had a huge black Calvin Klein down coat over my navy wool skirt, pink flowery earrings, light pink stripe cooler button up, and large loose knit light orange sweater over. For some reason I felt like I was back in my high school days.. I used to wear a random unusual outfit every once in awhile just to do something different. It really has to do with the way that you carry yourself. There were younger people whose eyes I think met with mine and were curious.. I've seen more than ever with the pandemic styles we would not have seen 2 years ago. Especially with the hair coloring.

Ohh I totally can get that. I have a feeling that will happen to me because I get too sensitive at times. I don't want to because I like the taste of coffee, it has grown on me over the years. But I get the part about it being like a security blanket, that's what I felt going to work that I would be naked, if that makes any sense.

Oh goodness, from your descriptions it sounds like you have the cutest style!!! Love it!!!!

I'm sick of these headlines that start with "Did the Simpsons predict..."

A show with over 700 episodes... there are bound to be coincidences. I get that it's mostly played as a joke... but I just find it annoying.

Bad: When you really want to play a video game you haven't played in a while but then you find out it isn't working!

Good: I'm having fun playing around with MIDI music in Cakewalk. It seems like a pretty good software, and it's free! I'll probably use it to redo my Sonic CD remixes next!

Yesterday in Sonic and the Black Knight, I beat a mission I had never beaten before and got five stars and a big Knight's Honor bonus!! That was amazing, although I thought I did horrible! I mean, I practically spent the entire mission going back and forth repeatedly, attacking unbreakable walls, and getting paralyzed by electric enemies. What's so honorable about that?
