Then we have scripture that says...The righteousness of the law is fulfilled in those who believe in their heart unto righteousness ( that Christ rose form the dead) That is what also set us free from being under the law. That is the fulfilling of the righteousness of the law as told..
Romans 8:1-4 [1], There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
According to the scriptures those who do not receive Gods' condemnation are those who are "in Christ" who "walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit". That is according to Galatians 5:16 that if we walk in the Spirit we will not be obeying the lusts of the flesh or carnal mind. Therefore being obedient to Gods' law not breaking Gods' law. Therefore being "in Christ" means to be obedient to Gods' Word through faith.
[2], For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
That is if we are "in Christ" and walking in "His Spirit" we well be living a life like Jesus not being disobedient to Gods' law by breaking Gods' law. This is sin and something that Jesus never did or that God's Spirit never leads us to so because as shown earlier through the scriptures if we are walking in the Spirit we will not be fulfilling the lusts of the flesh (Galatians 5:16). The law of the "Spirit of life" therefore makes us free from the law of sin and death of the lusts of the flesh (carnal mind).
[3], For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin,1 condemned sin in the flesh: [4], That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
God's law does not bring obedience to Gods' Word because the flesh (Carnal mind or sinful human nature) cannot obey it but God sending His son Jesus in the likeness of sinful flesh condemned sin in the flesh so that the righteousness or obedience of Gods' law might be fulfilled in us who walk not after the flesh (carnal mind; sinful human nature) but walk after the Spirit so that we do not obey the lusts of the flesh (Galatians 5:16). So the righteousness of the law is fulfilled in obedience to Gods' law not breaking Gods' law.
Take Care.
