There was someone on an app that we were going to chat at a certain time yesterday but he canceled. Then rearranged for today but I forgot. I got on and saw that he wanted to be up front that he is not finalized on his divorce. That's a first for almost conversing, I let him know that if I was to continue talking to him that it would be adultery and that I couldn't.

I have to wonder how many other guys I may have talked to and they weren't divorced yet. Yikes!!! I think I would have eventually found out but I'm really glad that he saved me that effort.

Today went well all things considered. Even though there was only two of us, we managed to take care of business. God helped helped me stay focused, and keep up a high level of energy through each crisis and fire. Lately, I've been very fatigued, and been finding difficult to stay focused. Been a long while since I felt "on the ball" like I did today.

It's kinda dumb, but I do feel a little like I perform better in crisis than I do under normal circumstances. Maybe I'm not disciplined enough. If I know I don't need to stay focused, and keep moving from fire to fire to fire-- if I can get away with maybe leaving that thing for tomorrow-- or calling that person back later-- filling out that paperwork another time, etc-- if I know it isn't threat level midnight, maybe I have a tendency to be a little more lax.

That's awesome! I had a similar experience with my last job when they started assigning so many shifts, it was like I went into overdrive for a bit. But hopefully you won't have to do it too much!

Debated over and over again whether to sleep a little bit more. And even as getting ready if I should do Church online because of the ice outside and catching up on my Bible study quiet time. But in the end I have decided to go to church in person. It's best to take the effort and also continue to improve my self-care routines and getting ready for church on time. I want to bring good things to a future relationship. That includes the discipline of appearance and being on time. Also I got a free pass for this weekend and that I didn't have to be called out for snow plowing, so I have no excuse to miss church. I am blessed!

Tell me about it! I always 'I'm an adult, I can outsmart em'- but man, their energy level is just boundless! XD

I'm really lucky that my sister only lives like four minutes away, and she brings them over for me to babysit while they run to costco and stuff every Sunday.

Blankets and cozy socks kept me warm last night even tho it dropped to 60 degrees. Even got hot enough for a little that I was sweating. Hopefully will find resolution today.
