That sounds like a nice time! Except the bad roads. I'm so jealous you saw the new Spiderman. I've been dying to see it.

Oh! I hope that you get to see it soon!! Totally worth the watch! I completely didn't expect a lot of it, although I didn't watch any trailers before going to see it which might be partly why..

Tonight's coping mechanism for what is no doubt going to be a highly stressful near future:
I set up my movie theater projector on a tripod, pointed it up at the ceiling, and inverted the image, so I can lay in bed, and literally watch anime on my ceiling. I was going to post a picture, but it keeps saying server error. Oh well.
And I'm staying up way too late

You do need to get one! Everyone should have one!
Yeah, I hook it up to my PS4, or PC, it works with both through HDMI.

Had a huge salad for breakfast. Was unable to finish it so had the rest for lunch! Also took a nap today!

I managed to find some coverage and took the day off to help out my parents.. I cooked a homemade spaghetti all day- sometimes cooking is relaxing.
Now I am setting up the projector and getting my USB-C to HDMI adapter so I can hook it up to my phone or tablet-- so I can read my digital manga and comics on the huge screen.

I have to say that taking a Saturday to catch up around the house and clean seems to be a huge part of self care. I have errands and different things I wanted to run today along with free birthday things. But TimeWise I think it's better invested just staying here and getting things done close to home.

When I was half marathon training 2 years ago for the first time, I found the house becoming overwhelming with yard work and different things and because I wanted to do destination running. It was fun to travel and eat different foods and run in different places, but things got so behind. That's when I came up with a plan last year that I couldn't do that except for every other weekend. Same with social and doctor's appointments, I try to keep it to a minimum of one to two a week.

Last night after my run I spent some time in the basement looking for stuff to give to somebody at work whose house burned down. At the same time I was able to clean up and put some stuff away. There's still more Christmas decorations and things that need to be put away, but it feels good to get just a little bit of it done.

Remembered to take my vitamins today! Woohoo!!!
Been thinking I need to find some good lotion. Usually I just use aloe vera but the air has been so dry that it isn't helping anymore, so ordering some will be on my to-do list for this evening.

It was a good salad though! If I remember correctly I had lots of stuff in it! Chick peas, olives, tomatoes, carrots, radishes, green onions, spinach, baby greens, sprinkled with olive oil, and such.
