Had a huge salad for breakfast. Was unable to finish it so had the rest for lunch! Also took a nap today!

Yay!! I feel you!! I often forget to take my supplements, so it's always a good day when I remember!

That's awesome...unless you are exhausted all day and unable to nap, then that's no fun!!!

Made my own facial cleanser and my face felt nice afterwards. Have decided to try getting on a better skincare routine.

Yeah! I have it on a tripod, aim it up at the ceiling above my bed, invert the image, and bam, movie theater on the ceiling. I can use HDMI to hook it up to my playstation, Switch, or PC. I have wireless mouse, and "lap desk" with a RGB keyboard and a USB extension cable so I can actually use my PC on the projector, and a wireless gaming headset so I have good quality audio.

I needed a project to help me unwind after my mom got home from the hospital due to Covid back in April/May, and was laying in bed, looking up at the ceiling like: "Wish I could watch anime on my ceiling", and the seed was planted XD

I had thought I would have a self-care day to myself to recuperate this Saturday, but ended up helping my dad and also watching my little niece. I had some good food and got to watch some cartoons with my niece anyway...that counts right?

Exercise: As much as possible. A good week would be 7 hours exercise.

Food and drink: Fruit and vegetables with strong colours (bright orange, dark red, deep green, dark purple etc), because those are the ones that have the most anti-cancer and other health-boosting compounds in them. Dark chocolate (70% cocoa or above) is also good, but I don't have any at the moment.

Supplements: Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and A-Z multivitamins and minerals taken with a meal.

Skin care: Zinc oxide sunscreen to stop the UV.

I had some interesting dreams about looking for the Northern lights during my nap.

I tried to see the Northern Lights several times, but I wasn't successful. I arrived too late after the activity had finished. There is an alert service. After my unsuccessful attempts, I learned that you have to be prepared in advance. You need to have already researched a suitable dark-sky site, and you have to set off early on the day that the coronal mass ejection is due to arrive, so that you're already at your chosen site when it starts getting dark. Then you just sit and wait. And if you're lucky you might see something.

Did a spur of the moment late afternoon drive to look at the lakes in the areas that I do running during training season. Absolutely gorgeous sunsets!

I don't remember if you've said either way, Somber. Do you babysit family pretty much full-time? I have a vague memory of you once saying in a pm from long ago that you were just starting a new job as a restaurant hostess. So if you are still doing anything like that for any number of hours in the week while also still looking after nieces and nephews seemingly this much, then I imagine you must not get much rest ... at least not easily.
