Fair enough. What, then, according to you is "the one true understanding" of the eucharist?
When we receive the consecrated bread and wine of the Eucharist, we are truly receiving Christ's flesh and blood.

Do you believe that it is literal physical flesh and blood with human DNA which can be scientifically determined or do you believe that it is metaphysically and/or metaphorically flesh and blood?

I've told you what I believe.

Not remotely, which I am quite sure you already know.

You wrote, "When we receive the consecrated bread and wine of the Eucharist, we are truly receiving Christ's flesh and blood."

I am convinced, as you are, that your branch of Christianity believes this, as do all other Orthodox bodies. We can include the Coptic Church here, would you not agree? I am quite certain that the RCC also firmly believes this. Albion can correct me if I am mistaken, but the Anglican church also believes this. In addition, church bodies such as the Methodists, Congregationalists and Wesleyans, which are related to the Anglican church also believe this. Lutherans all believe this to be absolutely true. Reformed churches such as the Presbyterians, Dutch Reformed, etc., assuredly believe this to be true. I do not know any Anabaptist churches which do not believe this.

Even using the Orthodox and RCC churches alone without the others, virtually all Christians believe this to be unassailable truth. If you count the others then there are virtually no exceptions.

If you believe that any of these groups do not agree with you, please tell me which they are and why they do not conform.

Thank you.

Many Protestant denominations consider the bread and wine to be purely symbolic, which I highly doubt you are unaware of.

"Most" Protestant denominations probably include the Anglican Church, the Lutheran Churches, and the Reformed Churches. Would you agree with this?

Even at that, the combined membership of the Orthodox churches and the RCC far outnumbers the combined membership of all other Christian denominations.

You said "Every Christian believes that". Are you now admitting you made a false claim?

Not in the least. Every Christian professes to believe that. Whether or not they hold to the same interpretation is another question entirely. Thus, the Lutheran understanding differs from that of the RCC.

Now, back to my previous question.

"Most" Protestant denominations probably include the Anglican Church, the Lutheran Churches, and the Reformed Churches. Would you agree with this?

I think many things end up getting turned into an idol. Including the eucharist.
The eucharist and the sabbath day certainly have been turned into an idol by certain groups.

Then I don't think I can have a rational discussion with you.

I agree. As long as you do not perceive Protestant branches of the Christian church, such as the Anglicans, Lutherans, and Reformed Churches, as having any validity, it is impossible to continue a rational discussion.

I am not making such arguments. Enjoy knocking down all those strawmen. It's all you seem good at.
