My view point is not worth a nickel.

What does God say in the very commandments you seem to want to reject.

Exodus 20:6 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.

If you refuse deny the claim, then I don't feel obliged to withdraw the assertion.

So from your point of view, are believers that don't follow the tradition of keeping a Saturday Sabbath saved or not?
Carl you have it mixed up here. Gods' Sabbath is the 4th commandment spoken and given by God and written by God with his own finger as one of the 10 commandments (Exodus 20:8-11; Exodus 20:1-17; Exodus 32:16). According to the scriptures all of Gods' 10 commandments that give us the knowledge of what sin is when broken in Romans 3:20; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4. According to James if we knowingly break anyone of them we stand guilty before God of sin in James 2:10-11. It is the very Word of God that is spoken and written by God himself so is definitely not a man-made teaching and tradition. On the other hand perhaps you were referring to Sunday worship which is a man-made teaching and tradition unsupported by the scriptures handed down to Protestantism by the Roman Catholic Church as a replacement for God's 4th commandment that has led many away from God and his Word to follow man-made teachings and traditions that Jesus says breaks the commandments of God in Matthew 15:3-9? According to Jesus if we follow man-made teachings and traditions that break the commandments of God we are not worshiping God. Do you believe the words of Jesus here Carl in Matthew 15:3-9?

It’s not up to me who is saved. I quoted God telling us who He shows mercy to. I’m not the one you disagree with. Scripture tells us we are saved though our faith by Jesus gift of grace. Before we get to the grace of Jesus, we will all need to stand before Jesus and His righteous judgement based on our actions. 2 Cor. 2:10

Why do you think the day doesn’t matter when God told us it does? God cared about one tree in the Garden of Eden, do you really think He doesn’t care if we obey His authority over traditions of man? Especially regarding the only day in the entire bible God told us to Remember and keep holy, the day He sanctified and blessed, written on stone and stored in the Most Holy in His Temple that He our Savior and Redeemer personally wrote. I just don’t understand the opposition here if you really want to submit yourself to our Savior and want to do His will. This is what it comes down to. Our will over God’s. His authority over mans.

It has been established SDA doctrine for many years that "Sunday worship" will be the "mark of the beast".

Look up the history of the SDA, and you will find the truth on the matter.

.
Brother Anderson (former member of over 30 years in the SDA church) also confirms that teaching in his article below:

“Seventh-Day Adventists teach that the near the end of time the "mark of the best" of Revelation 14 will be placed upon those who worship on Sunday instead of Saturday.”

Question for you. Is the end of time now? Your post is misinformation. No SDA teaches that people receive the Mark of the Beast until it is enforced under civil law as shown in Revelation 13. That time has not happened as yet. So to claim otherwise is not being truthful. Now let me ask you plainly as I did your friends, from all I hear is silence. According to the scriptures, do you believe someone is in a saved state with God or an unsaved state before God once they have been given a knowledge of the truth of Gods' Word but choose to reject Gods' Word in order to continue in a life of known unrepentant sin (scripture please)?

How nice that Bible scholars on BOTH sides of the Sabbath debate fully affirm all TEN for mankind prior to Exodus 20

That includes --
The "Baptist Confession of Faith" sectn 19
The "Westminster Confession of Faith" sectn 19
C.H. Spurgeon
D.L. Moody
R.C. Sproul

And that the TEN given to mankind in Eden are included in the LAW written on heart and mind in the Jer 31:31-34 "NEW Covenant".

but you cannot show the words "New Covenant" in the document.
Have you actually read the Westminster Confession?

When you actually 'read' the text of the NEW Covenant (Jer 31:31-34) you see that IT is the covenant where "the LAW of GOD is written on the heart" -- then if you take the time to actually read those two confessions of faith you find that they admit that it is THE TEN that are included in the Commandments of God, the LAW - written on the heart and still applicable to saints today.

looks very obvious to me.

Can you show me where those scholars address the verse below, or do they ignore it?
Heb 8:13 In that He says, "A NEW COVENANT," He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

That list includes --
The "Baptist Confession of Faith" sectn 19
The "Westminster Confession of Faith" sectn 19
C.H. Spurgeon
D.L. Moody
R.C. Sprou

They (referring to that list) don't argue FOR the "Old Covenant" as it turns out.

Do you claim you do NOT see the "New Covenant"?
Do you claim you cannot SEE the "New Covenant" of Jer 31:31-34 saying the LAW of God is written on the HEART under the NEW Covenant?
Can you be claiming you do NOT see those bible scholars pointing that very fact of the Law of God written on the heart just as the NEW Covenant says - or are you still stuck on the OLD Covenant references in your quote?

Are you telling us that Jer 31:31-34 statement on the NEW Covenant was telling God's people to start taking God's name in vain???

“Seventh-Day Adventists teach that near the end of time the "mark of the best" of Revelation 14 will be placed upon those who worship on Sunday instead of Saturday.”

You mean they predict there will be a civil law calling for death penalty in the future for anyone that continues to keep the Sabbath?

If some group "predicts" that in the future everyone will have to wear red shoes and that prediction fails - is it something other than a failed prediction?

If someone predicts that at the second coming - (which is some point in the future - at the end of time) everyone who is choosing to covet will have to re-think that decision - is the existence of that prediction something to justify thought-police actions in here and now?

If someone predicts that at the second coming everyone must give up on the idea of being at war with even one of God's commandments - is that something we can currently make them "un-think"?

take any of the commandments of God whether it involve making graven images or bowing down to them or promising to serve them or prayers to the dead or ... you name it. And you will find that in today's world "opinions may vary".

But when Christ comes -- at the second coming -- is He going to bring everyone into line on what are today debated topics -- or will it continue to be in some form of confusion on all those topics?

Your post is of the form "any debated subject today will continue to be undecided at the second coming and in fact forever - and anyone who thinks God will select one truth for each given topic at any point in the future should not be tolerated"

No. I am telling you the exact opposite.

Mat 22:36 "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?"
Mat 22:37 Jesus said to him, 'YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.'
Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
Mat 22:39 And the second is like it: 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.'
Mat 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."

Based on the words of Christ below, the New Covenant is a higher standard of conduct than the Sinai Covenant.

Mat 5:27 "You have heard that it was said to those of old, 'YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY.'
Mat 5:28 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

Different spirit operating.
Brother, the Holy Spirit will not help you move from an invented tradition to another invented tradition. LoveGodsWord's belief that the Sabbath is a day of the week in Israel is also an invented tradition. Neither has the true biblical Sabbath, the only difference is that one is more obvious than the other. The question is why none of you believe me on the Sabbath. I think it's because you're too old and I need to reach a younger audience. I need to pour my "new wine" into new wineskins, so that no invented tradition will ever separate us from the truth.

“No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. Otherwise, the new piece will pull away from the old, making the tear worse. And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins.” (Mark 2:21-22 NIV)

I find it interesting no one ever debated which day was God’s only holy day and Sabbath in the Bible. Lots of talk about how to keep God’s Sabbath, but not which day is God’s holy day. This all happened long after the Bible was written based on man changing God’s holy day and it’s well-documented.

LAW of Moses
Deut 6:5 "Love God with all your heart"
Lev 19:18 "Love your neighbor as yourself"

Foundation for all of scripture "the Law AND the prophets"

Even the Jews agreed with Christ on this detail

All SINAI covenant - laws.

same moral law in BOTH covenants.

The NEW Covenant writes that LAW of God known to Jeremiah and his readers on "heart and mind"

I don't recall seeing anyone here doing that.
They haven’t. But then is it a sin to not keep the sabbath through the new covenant in our heart through Christ? And if it is a sin and it is not repented of? And by the way I am Not a SDA
So from your point of view, are believers that don't follow the tradition of keeping a Saturday Sabbath saved or not?
your post should hold the same accountability here as someone telling you you are lost for sinning. If it is against the rules here to tell someone they are lost, it should be against the rules to ask if you are saved if you continue in sin. And btw it is not a tradition it is of Christ and as Christians it is in our hearts and minds through the New Covenant

If you say that the law was nailed, then there is no sin and no need of grace.

You are in ignorance of the new and old law. You do not know that Christ began a new testament. Jesus has established His will and testament. This is how He nailed the law of Moses to His cross and we still are under law today.

Hebrews 9:15-17
And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

For where there is a testament, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.

For a testament is in force after men are dead, since it has no power at all while the testator lives.

Hebrews 10:9
Then He said, Behold I have come to do Your will, O God. HE TAKES AWAY THE FIRST THAT HE MAY ESTABLISH THE SECOND.

You need to be taught that Jesus has established a new better covenant that ALL are under today. Jesus abolished the old covenant and has brought in a new testament.

We are now subject to Christ's law. This is the law ALL OF MANKIND is under today and till Jesus returns.

James 1:25
But he who looks into the PERFECT LAW OF LIBERTY and continues in it and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

Christ's law gives us liberty! The old law kept the Jews in bondage!

Galatians 5:1
Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage(old law of Moses).

Now that you are educated in the new law of Christ that ALL are subject too.

Galatians 6:2
Bear one another's burdens and so fullfil the LAW OF CHRIST.

You can now understand how we can be under law and Christ nail the old law to His cross,

Ephesians 2:15
Having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, THE LAW OF COMMANDMENTS CONTAINED IN ORDINANCES, so as to create in Himself ONE new man from the two (
Jew and Gentile) thus making peace.

And that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.

Christ fullfilled, abolished, ended the old law, He nailed it to His cross!

He also ended the division of Jews and Gentiles.

So why do you support division of jew and gentile when Christ tore down the wall that separates us? Thus ending the division between mankind?

Colossians 2:14
Having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.

The handwriting of ordinances is the old law. True Biblical doctrine teaches there is a change of law,

Hebrews 7:12
For the priesthood being changed of necessity THERE IS ALSO A CHANGE OF THE LAW.

Do you still bind circumcision on all those who desire to serve Christ?

Genesis 17:13
He who is born in your house and he who is bought with your money must be circumcised and MY COVENANT SHALL BE IN YOUR FLESH FOR AN EVERLASTING COVENANT.

The scriptures teach this is an everlasting covenant!

Brother, it depends on whether guided you are by the Holy Spirit's silence on the Sabbath question not to adapt the Saturday-tradition because God wants His people to find the full "truth" about the Sabbath in His word. The moment the Holy Spirit ceases silence on the Sabbath question, you must adapt the correctly kept Sabbath in Israel without Judaism fully understanding it to keep it correctly in other places besides Israel.

“Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” (John 4:21-24 NIV)

The Law of God known to Jeremiah and his readers - (exegesis) - is the Law written on heart and mind in the "NEW Covenant" of Jer 31:31-34 and that included
Deut 6:5 "Love God with all your heart"
Lev 19:18 "love your neighbor as yourself"

as well as "do not take God's name in vain" Ex 20:7

What is more when Jesus "magnifies that law" in Matt 5 that fact does not "rewrite" the New Covenant of Jer 31:31-34 -- rather it further explains it.

No wonder Bible scholars on both sides of the Sabbath topic affirm the point which includes

The "Baptist Confession of Faith" sectn 19
The "Westminster Confession of Faith" sectn 19
C.H. Spurgeon
D.L. Moody
R.C. Sproul

Apparently the rightful Priesthood didn't feel that way. It would seem that Yahshua didn't feel that way either; as it appears that he often quoted it and referenced it in his teachings.

I just find it interesting that certain things that are well past the time are mentioned such as the example I mentioned, which makes it seem like a more "recent" book than it is said to be

Nothing you have written disproves what I have said. Of course there is a NC. What was against us was not "thou shall not murder"....it was the curse for transgression of it. You keep putting words in my mouth I have never said. The curse...death...has been taken away...for redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant. We now have a permanent way to salvation and eternal life!
