Saint..

IN general there are 3 Transformations, that happen to every Believer. (born again, and not just water baptized).

The first Transformation is to go from hell bound unbeliever, to "Christ in you the hope of Glory", born again, Saint.

See that?
That is the initial transformation whereby a believer hears the gospel, ("faith comes by hearing") repents of unbelief, and God accept your heart faith in Christ to give you "the gift of righteousness", "the gift of Salvation".
See that "gift"? That is God giving you, what Christ did for you on the Cross 2000 yr ago.

Salvation is What God as Christ did for you, on the Cross. He accomplished salvation, and once it was done, Jesus said..>"IT it finished", and died.
So, that "IT"< is, your salvation. That is God dying for your sin, so that you can be redeemed from it, and become a citizen of Heaven, a Son of God, possessing eternal life. Now, when i talk to a group i also say a "daughter of Christ", as i feel that this FEELS more inclusive for the women, then to be called a "SON of God".
Im absolutely sure that Jesus does not mind, and if you want to use that phrase when dealing with a female or a group and women are in it, then you should.
We should always make the Cross of Christ feel like HOME to our audience.
After all, the Cross is the only Way to get there....

So, the initial transformation, accomplishes some things..

1.It puts Christ in you, and this is your Righteousness, maintained, as your eternal life.
2. It puts you in Christ, and that is why you become a "Heir of God", a "Son"< and "a joint heir with Jesus"
3. You ENTER the Kingdom of God, Spiritually, and it enters you, literally.
4. You become as Righteous as God, who has made you "the righteousness of God, In Christ", born again.

How righteous are you, ? And im talking about the real you, your SPIRIT that is born again...= It is "made righteous", so, this means that its exactly as Righteous as God's Holiness.
------------------------------------------------------

Now, let me park and preach to you for a bit....
What a legalist, (self saver) can never understand, is that the born again SPIRIT, has become the "Righteousness of God", forever. And this SPIRIT is the REAL YOU, ... not your body and not your mind.
The REAL YOU is the born again "new Creation", IN Christ".
The born again have received the Righteousness of God, as "the gift of righteousness", which IS "the gift of Salvation".
So, take a second and think....>"How righteous, is God's Righteousness"? "How Holy is God's righteousness".?
And here is the big question that when answered by revelation understanding is how you are to understand "being made righteous".

Q.) If God has made you righteous, (born again), and Jesus the Righteousness of God is in you,.... then can commandment keeping and self effort achieve what has already been given to you?
So that is why you dont chase commandments and self effort to try to be righteous.
Its because you can't possibly achieve God's Righteousness, and what is moreso, is that you already have it, if you are born again. (and not just water baptized).
GET that REVELATION, and thereby exist as who you are become, "in Christ", as "the righteousness of GOD".... and stop trying to become what you have already become.
See it?
SEE THAT Mind?

So, when a person can see THAT....then they can understand commandment keeping in the right LIGHT, vs trying to self save themselves with this futile pursuit.

Always remember that God is The Savior, and not you trying to keep yourself saved.
----------

2nd Transformation,...

... is the process of God conforming you into this....
"""the fullness of the stature of Christ""" on earth. This is your DISCIPLESHIP being performed as "working out your salvation",
To work it out, is not to try to keep it, but its you learning how to exist in it, because you already have it.
The way you work it out, is to figure out how to exist so that you are resting in God's Grace that is your power to live holy.
The way you dont do that, is by trying to keep yourself saved.
The way you dont do that is by chasing the law and commandments, trying to perform, so that God will accept you or keep you.

Ive many Threads on this forum that discuss what to BELIEVE about who you are become as a "new Creation, in Christ", and its by this understanding that you begin to exist in right faith, inside the Grace of God.
Jesus said that apart from Him, (all your self effort) you can do nothing, and Paul told you that when he is weak, then GOD is Strong in him.
See that?
That is real faith. That is the renewed mind.
Christianity becomes the power of God through you, just as soon as you stop trying to do it, and start existing instead as "the new Creation", in your renewed mind.
-----..............................

3rd Transformation. :

"conformed into the Image of Christ".
This is the final transformation that God causes, when you get your New Body and are finished, and receive your heavenly inheritance.
This is when you meet your Lord and He and you take a look at "What you did in His Body".
This is the bema or "judgement seat", and Christ is going to show you all you ever did for Him, and all this will be evaluated by one thing..

1. Heart MOTIVE

Heart motive. Jesus is going to look at all your works you ever did for him, and judge them based on WHY you did them. Was it the right motive, or the wrong. ???????
Was it for His glory, or was it to get attention and compliments, and forum "likes", and status in a church building, and perhaps income. ?????????
So, all the works you did that were done for the right motive, receive for you a reward in GLORY.
The others, burn..... as "wood, hay, and stubble".
---------------------------------

See all 3 Transformations?
The born again are "predestined" to be "conformed".......into all 3.

See all 3 Transformations?
The born again are "predestined" to be "conformed".......into all 3.
Whether one comprehends this as 3 transformations, or 3 phases of one transformation,
the apostles summarize this process in many places.

Colossians 3:
1
If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is,
sitting at the right hand of God. (living in the second transformation process)
2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
3 For you died,(first transformation, passing from death to life) and
your life is hidden with Christ in God.
4 When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.(final or
completion of transformation to be "in the image of the Son of God
).

1 John 3:
2
Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be,
but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord,
are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Student feedback: it is more scriptural and customary nowadays to use we, our and ourselves to highlight the fact that we are all sinners.

As "we are all in this together" as believers, of one body, one spirit...
Ephesians 2:
4
But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,
5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ
(by grace you have been saved),
6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places
in Christ Jesus,

Im not a sinner, so, i'll let you be the sinner, as you define yourself, Hmm.

What am i?
Im the same as all those who are "made righteous", and have become "the Righteousness of God, in Christ">

See that?....Im "in Christ", "the righteousness of God".

God defines the born again, all, as a "Saint". "Heir of God" 'Son of God", and a "join heir with Christ".

The law you live under, defines you as a sinner, and i believe you as the law des not lie., as why would you post that you are a sinner on a christian forum, unless you are one ?
"by your own words, you shall be judged".

You're not a sinner? Wow, just wow.

You can't be a sinner and Go to Heaven.

You dont know this do you..
Well, you better figure this out before you meet God as judge instead of meeting him as Father.

John 3:36

You're the sinner.
Remember?
You told us so, today.

As for me and the born again....we are this....."having been made free from sin".
Thats Paul talking about the born again.

See that?

And this one.... from John "
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God"""

So, that is the spiritual reality concerning the BORN AGAIN Spirit.

The reason you can't comprehend this, is because you are not able to understand that the SPIRIT is the real you, and not your body, and not your mind.

You read....that the born again are "made righteous"< and are "ONE WITH GOD, IN Christ", and you dont understand this, .....yet.

If you ever do, then you'll finally know the truth. John 14:6

You're the sinner.

Well, who am I to argue with someone who is sinless?

But if you ever do, then you'll finally know the truth

You have much to learn about Christianity my friend. But first you have to unlearn even more. Hopefully the feedback you get on this forum will help you grow. Don't be discouraged - growth is seldom easy.

The feedback i get on this forum, is 95% "winner", "informative", "agree" "friendly".

And as i just told you again,.....Its the born again SPIRIT that is the real "born again" that is sinless.
Made so by "the righteousness of God, in Christ".
See, you can't have sin and be with God, in Heaven.
This is why God came here to give you "the gift of righteousness".
And if you have it, then = "new creation" in Christ.
If you dont...then you are a "sinner" as you have defined yourself.

I need more of this.

I have been a backslider for a long long time, but the whole time it was just me, trying to save myself.

Not that the Holy Spirit can't revive me, but to think of the time I wasted!

God bless you.

Today is the day that God has given us to both enjoy and to draw close to Him.
Yesterday is gone, and tomorrow is not here.

We have today.
Every day is a new beginning.
Every day is a fresh new start.
Every day is a golden opportunity to get it right.

One of my favorite things about God, that i have discovered, is that God is the author of the endless 2nd chance.

You're not a sinner? Wow, just wow.

He's correct.

A sinner/unbeliever is dominated by sin in their life, they have no choice but to sin.

We as Christians do not have that sinful nature anymore. When we were born again we received a renewed human spirit and we were sealed with The Holy Spirit. We are no longer dominated by sin anymore because we are led by The Holy Spirit now.

I know it seems fashionable to say that we are just sinners, even as Christians, but such a statement only shows a person's lack of knowledge.

What you said is true.

Paul said our sin nature, is "dead", so 'how can we live any longer in what is dead"?????and to "reckon it dead", because our "old man is crucified with Christ" and our NEW CREATiON is risen with Christ in newness of LIFE".
That Life is Eternal Life that we have spiritually become as "ONE with God, in Christ".

The reason that most believers dont understand what it means to have become "the righteousness of God, in Christ"...."made righteous", "born again"....is that they dont understand that the REAL YOU and the REAL ME< is our born again Spirit.
Most believers see themselves as a "saved sinner", or a body and a mind.
They dont understand that the body is the container and the Spirit is the REAL US.
So, when the Spirit is born again as the NEW CREATION< then this is who we have become, "in Christ".

:sigh: I didn't say we're "just sinners", as if that's all we are. I said we are all "sinners".

You should use the words people actually use whether you are going to defend or disagree with them, not just make them up.

What "he" said, is that "he" is the "righteousness of God in Christ", made so by the blood of Jesus.
"he" said that God has made "him" born again, as "one with God in Christ".
And this has made "him".. = "As Christ is, so are the born again, in this world".

My statement is correct, as well as his is.

A sinner is a non-Christian, a person dominated by sin.

I'm no longer a sinner either, I don't seek to always involve myself in sin every hour of the day anymore,... and that is because of the blood of Jesus.

Why do you object to "he" and "him". Do you prefer "she" or a gender neutral term?

Let me remind you (or remind ”Sidon” if you prefer) of what you said:

When you carnally slander me next time.... to someone else here, as you often do on this forum, then go here.: "Sidon".
I think even someone like you can handle that...
