Islam denies Jesus "came in the flesh" in its core doctrines. It denies His Deity and his Redemptive sacrifice on the cross. It denies the resurrection of Christ which was unnecessary in its view because Jesus never died in the first place but was rather snatched up to heaven.

No other religion is so deeply anti Christian in its core texts and no other major world religion so deliberately contradicts Christian understandings. Islam has oppressed and persecuted Christians since its inception. The number of Muslims is growing considerably. So my question is this:

1) Could the AntiChrist be a Muslim?
2) What is the role of Islam in the end times?

Many Protestants have associated the AC with the papacy, others pick whichever global leader looks menacing to the church in our age. But Muhammed combined the false prophet and tyrannical leader aspects of the AC. So could the future AntiChrist be a Muslim Caliph with a global Caliphate? If not why not?

The antichrists spoken of in the initial texts were the gnostics.

The people who wrote the Quran were monotheists of the gnostic persuasion who made the demiurge their point of worship.

No to the first question. The Antichrist must be a Jew and his religion Judaism to become the King of Israel messiah for a short time.

Regarding the second question, the role of Islam is as the religious force that motivates the nations associated with Gog/Magog event driving them to want to destroy Israel.

The Gog/Magog event for all practical purposes will be the end of Islam.

Islam will not be a factor in the world after Gog/Magog.

@mindlight since you are from Germany, you are highly aware of the Islamization of Europe problem that is taking place. The concern of traditional Europeans about the trend is understandably so.

The little horn person, imo, will be against the muslim agenda, and when Gog/Magog is on the horizon, he will position his EU army in Greece to act as a deterrent.

Which will be one reason the Jews following Gog/Magog will think the person is the messiah. Because in Judaism, the belief is that the messiah fights the battles of God in defending Israel.

It is relating to Russia. And there are allies which are muslim countries. Persia (Israel), Libya, Ethiopia in Ezekiel 38:5

Those early Christians were going by Revelation, and the persecution they were suffering. And the times they were living in. I agree. But Nero, king 6, was not the beast.

The beast has to be the future king 7, the little horn person, who when he comes must continue the short space, i.e. as the beast for 42 months.

The person who becomes the Antichrist must be a Jew. But in his bloodline, he must also be descended from the Julio-Claudian line of Caesars - which Nero, king 6, was the historic last of line.

I had never heard about Djinn/Jinn interacting with humans freely in the apocalypse like he said in the video. This is something I should investigate more since he said they will somehow assist in establishing a Muslim world.

The video mentions that jinn are demons. But in Jewish and Islamic thought not all jinn are evil, some are good and they worship God. Here is what the Jewish Encyclopedia says about jinn:

That theory has been around for at least 20 years. One of the problems with it there is no counter part in the bible to be the role of the dajjal (the muslim version of the Antichrist). The dajjal is supposed to have one bulging eye, a hairy back, and kaffur written on his forehead.

The muslim Jesus, Isa, in muslim belief doesn't appear until the climatic battle between the Mahid forces and the dajjal forces - which Jesus, Isa, comes to destroy the dajjal. He is also supposed to destroy all the Christians for saying he is God.

So the false prophet cannot be a match for the muslim Jesus, Isa, because the false prophet is around for 42 months as the beast's religious leader.

Joel Richardson the presenter of that video is a Jew. It is very difficult for some Jews to think that the Antichrist could be a Jew...although he must be to even become the Antichrist - i.e. King of Israel messiah instead of and against Jesus the rightful King of Israel who came in the name of the Lord.

I had read that the Jinn were compared to Jewish supernatural entities but I hadn't read that particular passage. There seems to be a relation to magic, with the satyrs or Pan, at least associated today with witchcraft, and the Jinn who grant wishes. But as far as I know there is no Jewish doctrine about these beings becoming Jewish while Islam teaches a Jinn can become Muslim.

I believe that the anti-Christ is a Muslim. He is called the Assyrian in God`s word. (Isa. 31: 8) And that is in the context of the Lord returning to deliver Israel. (Isa. 31: 4 & 5)

Now we know that the old area of Assyria was comprised of - Iraq, Syria & Jordan. It was all one area until the allies of WW 1 divided it up into 3 groups, by drawing a line in the sand, as it were. Thus much of the tribal fighting today is because of others ruling over them.

When this Assyrian comes on the scene to make a Peace deal after the Russian federation war, then he will bring together those 3 areas - Iraq, Syria & Jordan.

Netflix claims it is pure fiction, but if you watch it, you cannot help but see it being based on Scripture to some extent. Not claiming its accurate on a biblical basis, but it sure isn't made up from nothing either.

I watched the series. Of course, it's pure fiction. This false Messiah could not heal the 2 sick people who went to him. As far as the last scene is concerned, all passengers died in the plane crash, including the false Messiah. It shows them getting up, but this is for the afterlife.

The tragedy in this very well-executed series is that Christians believed in him and followed him. This is sad, indeed, if Christians follow the future false Messiah.

I recommend watching it.

There is no mention of Islam in Bible prophecy, or any other of the myriad of false religions that abound today.
The only other religion is in Revelation 17:16-18 and 18:1-8, slated for destruction in the end times.

Then; the Anti-Christ will demand on pain of death; worship of himself.
Not Mahomed or any other false deity.
