That is the good part about videos, like this young fellow. Turtles have the reputation of being slow, but as can be seen in his videos. A snapper is anything but slow with his head and their thrusting and movement of the head when biting.

Yes! That's for sure. I will definitely note that next time. On today's run I saw quite a few crushed baby turtles. We did indeed save a couple turtles.

If you have ever tried to pull a small pecan tree up out of the ground and could not do it. Well here is why, this taproot really anchors in.

This one, i was able to pull up because it was coming up in a pot i am growing a blueberry bush. So the soil has potting soil in the pot. making it easier to pull up.

I almost thought the picture was showing a crack in the wall and that it was growing through it.

I forgot that it was 4th of July weekend until I rode by countless campsites and RVs around the bay.

I was going to hold it and take the picture but the root blended in with the background. So i placed the tree in on of the little groves on the scratch face brick. So i can see where that would look like a crack and the tree looking like it was growing out of the brick wall.

It's a good background. Also a good optical illusion

Wow, I haven't seen this rust colored yucca since the Angeles Forest.

I've marked it for harvesting!

Went out to eat at a Mexican restuarant earlier. I admired the mural and paintings featured throughout the dining rooms: they were very well done, and brought color and vibrance to an otherwise mundane atmosphere.

Out of no where, the waitress later also mentioned the wall mural and how much she liked it. She also said there were three pictures of Jesus hidden within if you looked closer, and briefly talked about her faith in God. Always positive to have experiences like that.
