I think that most 1st year High School Students, could understand that the "greek text" is not the language that Christ was speaking in ISRAEL. where He lived and died, before the Apostles letters were written, that were hundreds of years later translated into the "greek" manuscripts, or Latin. that were used to create all the english versions.

Why do I feel the urge to talk about the commandments? Well, umm probably because I’ve been so busy trying to get you to understand that Jesus didn’t break any of them. I mean it’s hard to persuade someone that Jesus didn’t break the commandments without saying the word “commandments”. So that’s exactly why I feel the urge to keep talking about them. I mean it only seems like the most logical explanation to mention the word “commandments” if your trying to convince someone that Jesus never broke the commandments. I would’ve thought that should be obvious to you but evidently my expectations were a bit high on that assumption.

The only commandments that we know Jesus never broke are the ones where the Father told Him what He should speak. We know that Jesus taught against a few of the OT commandments in the Sermon on the Mount. And we know that Jesus personally kept the commandments His Father gave to us through Him.

No, this passage does not mean the disciples broke the Sabbath or were working on the Sabbath, or that Jesus broke the Sabbath or that the Sabbath is no more because of this verse. Jesus was accused of not being the Son of Man too, because He was accused does that mean He is not our Savior? The disciples were eating on Sabbath and maybe you can show me where eating is a sin on Sabbath? We are told Friday is for the preparation of Sabbath, which includes cooking most of the foods, but its not a sin to eat on Sabbath. This is what the Pharisees accused Jesus of but Jesus never sinned.

Keep reading it tells us they were accused, not that they broke the Sabbath.

Jesus was our perfect, spotless sacrifice. He came to this earth as our perfect example for us. To imply Jesus was a sinner means there is no hope for any of us.

This was the opinion of the Pharisees and Jesus corrected them. You need to read the whole passage and Jesus tells us it was lawful if you keep reading.

They were harvesting the grain and the breaking the grain in their hands. That is not allowed on the Sabbath day. All food preparation is done the day before the Sabbath. Who said anything about eating on the sabbath?

The disciples were innocent because they are priests. The same as David and the priests who work on the Sabbath.

Because it is "my belief" that Jesus did some of the things he did to very much specifically point out that there "absolutely cannot", or cannot ever be always absolutely, etc...

You need to read the whole passage for context.

Mathew 12:1 And His disciples were hungry, and began to pluck heads of grain and to eat.

They were not harvesting or working, they were eating as stated in scripture. Eating is not a sin on the Sabbath!

It is also my very, very strong belief, that these are also the limits of the letter (of any) law also, etc...

And is why it can only be fully known truly perfectly, only in our own hearts fully at all ever only, etc...

Because it will tell you and guide you and show you very specifically when they "are not" or "cannot", etc...

And when maybe a very much higher, and maybe even very much more greater "law", needs to be applied, etc...

Like when to apply mercy instead of sacrifice, etc...

We are not saved by keeping the law, we are saved by grace though our faith. Keeping God's laws is a fruit of our faith.

Jesus, who is God, fulfilled the law, and lived a sinless life.
You didnt.
So, because God did, He provides this for you, as if you lived it.
This is the "gift of Righteousness".
If you have this Gift, then you are born again.
If you dont then you are playing a religious game with yourself, probably having been water baptized and told the lie that that water saved you.

If you want to be "perfect", in love, law, justice, or whatever, then fully realize when the Royal Law or the Higher or Highest Law should be applied maybe over and above and beyond the written down letter of it, if you want to be perfect, etc...

This may not be (or certainly will not be) in the majority of all cases, etc, but it might be (or certainly will be) in and with some of them, or in some cases, (most certainly), etc...

If you want to be absolutely "perfect" absolutely, etc...

I tried explaining the Parable/Story of the rich young ruler in another post (post #36) and how Jesus was trying to catch him, or kind of set him up, from the get go, etc, and was why he talked about some of the commandments with him, from the ten commandments specifically with him, etc, instead of just stating (or re-stating) only just the two, etc, but apparently some people didn't hear it, or quite read it, or didn't quite get the memo, etc...?
