Nonsense.
Why would you say that? Some fish do change sex.

There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.

Hmm, I'm sure she was in no way influenced during your conversations by the fact that you make absolutely no attempt to hide your disgust for her choice..
Sin and darkness is disgusting because of what it does to people. But it’s just Hollywood bigotry to think real Christians can’t speak the truth in love to sinners without exhibiting feelings of revulsion. They can and do all the time.

WHO in their right mind thinks it makes America BETTER to do away with the words, MOTHER and FATHER? I sure don't! The younger generation has very little respect for Mother & Father NOW, this is only going to make them have LESS respect.

I don't know about you, but it's against my conscience to go along with these kinds of things. A MOTHER should be called a MOTHER. A FATHER should be called FATHER. A HE should be called HE and a SHE a SHE.

Last week I had the opportunity to speak with a Transvestite. He's this big lumber-jack type of guy who decided one day that he should have been a woman. I first met him when he was married to a woman and was very much a man. The amazing part is that he's very interested in spiritual things and has even written a book on last day events. We've had some very interesting conversations. He considers himself a conservative Christian. He's actually an official in the local government here where I live. I like him as a person alot....but he's so confused. When I speak with him, I cannot bring myself to refer to him as female. That would be confirming a LIE, in my mind. He's a MALE and always will be a MALE....we've actually had a very good conversation about this and he so regrets ever going down this path...but now that the surgeries are all done...he thinks it's too late to turn around.

I feel so bad for these people....they are so confused and hurting so. And our DISGUSTING GOVERNMENT is only making it WORSE!
Biden admin. criticized for 'bias-free language,' scrapping 'mothers' for 'birthing people'
Dead on. It's sad. We should not be encouraging mental illness.

And what about in her mind? Ignore it? Discount it because it does not agree with yours or mine?
Taking that to its logical conclusion. What about what’s in the mind of cannibals or gang bangers or a thousand other issues of depravity? Should we acknowledge those as all equal with right thinking? Or is there really no such thing as right and wrong and laws of our nature?

Trans gender is man made, not of God, not natural. Male is male, Female is female. No amount of manipulation will ever change that
If we can not help ourselves it is in our nature, therefore our identity. However our nature can be changed. All sin can be overcome. From the thief to the sexually depraved.
Did God not create androgen insensitivity?

A woman with androgen insensitivity is born with an X and Y chromosome. Genetically, she would be classified as male. She is born identified as a female and develops female sex characteristics, but she is also at risk for testicular cancer because she has testes instead of ovaries.

Androgen insensitivity is not typically detected until puberty, meaning a girl with androgen insensitivity has been raised as a girl. She looks like a girl, acts like a girl, and has been treated like a girl for her entire life up to that point. Should she be forced to transition her gender and change her name to match her genetics? I doubt you had intended to call this girl "unnatural" or "sexually depraved" with this post, but that's what you did.

Girls with androgen insensitivity usually undergo surgery to have their testes removed after the diagnosis, and this usually happens around puberty. Most of them have identified as a girl their entire lives and wish to continue their life as a girl.

Sex isn't as simple as just male or female and gender is separate from sex. Gender is also man-made. Your beliefs about dresses and the color pink being feminine are entirely man-made and recent inventions.

Below is a photo of President Franklin D. Roosevelt as a child in 1884. The common practice at the time was that both young boys and girls wore white dresses. It wasn't until World War I that this changed. In the 1920s, the large department stores wanted to be able to sell more clothes by associating specific colors with specific genders, but they couldn't all agree on which colors to use. Marshall Field in Chicago branded pink as a boy’s color but Macy's branded it as a girl's color.

Is it possible to encourage mental illness? Don't the neurons have to be firing a certain way already?

I’m not so sure. I think it has affected theology. A few decades ago Protestants usually rejected the idea of mortal sins. The argument was that we were justified entirely by faith, and could depend upon God to work in saved people to deal with sin. Today, at least in CF, that view seems to be unusual. It’s common now to say that while justification is in principle by faith, there are specific sins (with homosexuality normally the one cited) that make it impossible for faith to be real until it is repented. If this isn’t the concept of mortal sin, it’s hard to see where the difference might be.

Nothing about the words being used here convey love, caring, or compassion. These aren't words to describe someone you love...or even someone you like.

Revolting.
Disgusting.
Depraved.

I don't think you care about trans people.

I think you're posting stuff like this because you think trans people are less than human or at least don't deserve to be treated as human.

Reflect on the words you're using to describe people, and please remember that they are still people.

People are confusing sin with natural instincts... I believe homophobia is a natural instinct based upon ancient man's tendencies to exterminate the homosexual... Over time, homophobia became an evolutionary trait based on natural selection, and people often cannot tell the different between natural instincts and morals. IMO.

To be fair, I don't think it's necessaily anyone's fault that they are not capable of differentiating their morals from their instincts... It could even be that some people deny the very existence of human instincts, or that they base instincts as divinely instilled.

I'm not convinced. There have been cultures that accepted it. And I'm not referring to Greek/Roman culture, where the official accepted same-sex relations were almost by definition abusive. I think a better hypothesis is that it was important to have stable families, and that this required unambiguous parentage and commitments between the partners. (In fact I would argue that it still does.) While this didn't logically prohibit homosexual partners, the rules that developed were based on the most common sexual orientation.

Israel had an additional consideration: The concept of religious purity was implemented as things matching ideal definitions. Thus you could only eat things that matched clear concepts of fish or animal, but if they didn't have all the characteristics Jews associated with a type they were prohibited. Fields had to have one type of crop, fabrics one type of yarn, men without certain types of injury. It's not surprising that sex had to match one ideal type.

(There have been arguments that the prohibition of sex between men was because of pagan associations. Those associations probably existed, but I think the prohibition is consistent with other purity rules.)

If murder is instinctual for you, then you might want to talk to someone about that before you end up acting on your instincts. Most people don't experience a desire to kill, and I really hope you don't either.

I’m not sure I quite accept that. Anger can lead people to kill, as Jesus recognized.

But consider the likely tendencies of Homo habilis... In that the traits of the earliest humans still exist in many modern humans. Even though certain people in various times were, and are able to set aside their instincts.

When all is said and done, it will be revealed that many, many, many feel just like that poor man--"he so regrets going down this path."

True story: I have a friend who transitioned from female to male -- he says it was the best decision he ever made.

Funny world, isn't it?
