The need for a wife?

Hey, I've never been married either (according to society) and I may never also.

But I've come to the understanding that whatever the abiding in Him is, so that fruit is borne...this is my wife.

Otherwise, how could Paul call Timothy his son in the faith?

For eros, for intimacy, for a complementary partner. None of those needs are fulfilled in a relationship with another male.

Many consider the Ruach ha Kodesh (Holy Breath of Yah) to be the Feminine aspect of Elohim.

God is not female, not God the Father, not God the Son, not God the Holy Spirit. All have been described as male.

John 14:26
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 15:26
26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

Nowhere in scripture is God said to be female in any capacity.

Yes,

I didn't say female ...

I said feminine.

only a thing in gendered languages, not really relevant.
but God is neither female, or feminine. He's male and masculine.

You see, I believe I'm glimpsing into where your hang up may be.

You know Him too much...you've boxed it all in.

Sure it's relevant...how else could we have gendered nouns if it had to do with genitalia?

well no matter how you put it, I'm not looking for a "feminine side" of myself, I am not looking for any "femininity" in myself, and I don't see any feminine or femininity in Christ. or at all in the Godhead.
The relationship is male to male.

So.. this might seem out in left field but.... I believe the masculininty of God is perpetuated because Jesus was born male.. so yes in fact God has a penis, because Jesus was born with one.
It's a little bit heavy and borders on time travel theories but Jesus being born as a male, and growing up to be a man, then dying and then ascending as the eternal Son of God.. and now existing outside of time... has ensured that any time we encounter God.. it will be a masculine He.
You see Jesus manifest physically in the Old Testament, sometimes He is called the Angel of the LORD, other times one like the Son of God (in the furnace in Daniel), one like the Son of Man (Daniel 7, which was Jesus' favorite title for Himself), the man clothed in Linen in Daniel 10 and 12, and some other prophetic visions like Ezekiel 9 and 10, etc. I believe that Jacob wrestled with Jesus.
John 8 has this
58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

Jesus was born, physically... but then died, and ascended, to a place that is outside of time, and so He is simultaneously, as Jesus, at the beginning of all things, interjecting within the events of the old testament before His birth, and He is at the end of all things.
I don't know how this interacts with God the Father or God the Holy Spirit, which one came first, how they came into being, etc, but Jesus being born, dying, and then ascending.. created what in most cases would be a time paradox, something that cannot logically happen, but because He is God, He can do it anyway.
But who we will know, and who we will encounter face to face, and who we will be in relationship with, is Jesus. Who is a masculine male.

I'm a man. The bible commands us not to be effeminate.

Well, have you received the Seed and have you bore fruit unto the Kingdom?

Okay, was it you that said earlier that women are a gift from the Creator and that they shouldn't be treated like means to an end?

Don't you see that your reasoning is doing what you claim to abhor?

How is it that man wasn't even in His image until both Adam and Eve were on scene?

How so? I'm not seeing a means to an end I'm seeing other people.
When I say means to an end I mean that the it is something that serves a purpose but has no real value outside of serving that purpose.
Women aren't objects that are to be treated as just serving a purpose of procreation.
They're people who have value and should be loved as people, and their feelings and wellbeing have value outside of what they may do for us personally. You love them not because of what they can do for you, but for who they are. Like you love Christ not for what he has done for you, but for who He is.

Part of loving Christ is respecting His design to the natural order of the universe and respecting His commandments.
His order of the Universe has a difference between male and female and has set Christ as the head of man, man as the head of women. This is all from 1 Corinthians 11 and of course Genesis 1 and 2.
Deuteronomy 22:5 and 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 teach against men being effeminate.

But I'd argue that Adam did not see Eve as just a means to an end for himself, because Eve was deceived into eating the fruit, God blamed the serpent for that and cursed the serpent. But Adam ate willingly he wasn't deceived he just willingly defied God, and and .. I believe Adam made the choice to die with Eve rather than live forever without her. He loved her that much.

Well, this is probably why you believe you'll never get married...you don't believe you have a feminine side...

@Jamdoc Eve was in Adam. Feminine is hidden in the masculine. She is in Him. God can and will take her out of you and bring her before you if only you believe and nurture “her” that which He already placed in you, so He can also birth her forth, in and through you, that you may produce more seed unto Him in the manner He designed.

You are only troubling yourself. You only see the masculine in God, so no wonder you yourself are left with only that. You look for her on the outside before you look on the inside. How can she come to physical when you didn’t love her and pour life into her in the spiritual? And how can you do that unless you believe she already exists in the spiritual? God is masculine, yet His feminine beauty exceeds all females put together. But you are not able to fall in love with that side of Him, neither wanting it nor willing to see/accept it. In fact, you seem to hate it because you think it’s gayish as you see it in carnal terms. When you believe this and adore the feminine in God, then she comes out from within you and you are prepared to meet her and know her in real, now, or in eternity.

Why would God give you His “her” unless you acknowledge that “she” is already His, in Him? By denying this, you are already showing that you don’t value her as a person. If you don’t acknowledge and admire the femininity within masculine, then she doesn’t exist and you cannot see her. You separate her from the masculine, thus she is only an object of no worth and nowhere to be found. And you won’t see her as your own, nor as God’s own, to be able to love her as she deserves. If you cannot appreciate the feminine side of God, then you do not know what a true female is like and you can’t see the image of God in her. Then she won’t draw you towards God and you pull her away from God. Because you don’t see her in God first, she is an object that you exclusively possess, when in reality she is and always will be God’s, more than she is yours.

NOTHING in scripture supports anything you said.

WHY would God want you to love femininity in yourself, that is directing your affections towards yourself, self love, God wants focus to be on others, first Him, then others. Part of why it's not good for the man to be alone is because his love is focused all on himself in the vacuum of his loneliness.

Genesis 2:21-22

WHY would God want you to love femininity in yourself

Because that is the image of God in you and God has put that in you so you can bring forth more life through love and bear fruit unto Him.

See, you reject any help because you don't love and suppress the feminine side of you. You are only killing her even further with your masculine strength instead of breathing life into her and stirring her up. That is what causes frustration in you. Anyways, I wish someday you will open up to that side of yours, that you may receive help and find hope.

Your perfect feminine companion is in God and it is exclusively yours for all eternity. If you cherish her, then God is more than willing to give her to you as He knows it's not good for a man to be alone, now, or in eternity. Did not God tell us that we've to love Him with all our hearts, mind, soul, and strength? All kinds of our love God will receive, He deserves it all and desires it all from us. Love Him for all that He is, with all of your being, even if it kinda feels gayish to you now. Who knows, God might get overwhelmed or irritated with your love that He sends you a wife so you don't bother Him in that way?

Thanks for the discussion.

a bearded Christ is not feminine, and not exclusively mine.

as for Genesis, yeah, God removed a rib from Adam because the marrow in ribs produces stem cells that can be used for cloning (in adult humans it's the flat bones like your hips collar bones, shoulder blades and ribs that produce most of your blood cells, it's where you can find a good source of hematopoietic stem cells) . He didn't take femininity out of a man, He took human stem cells and DNA and modified them to make feminine where there was none.

and the reality is, part of why I know I will remain single, is because I am so broken that I would not subject to any woman this broken man to be a curse on her. I need to be healed and fixed first, so that I'm not a curse.
