That's true.

I've asked evolutionists to explain how angels came to be, apart from evolution; and the ONLY thing they can do is deny or question their existence.

Theistic evolutionists however, can explain it by basically saying EVOLUTION TOOK A HIKE when God created them ex nihilo.

In reality, they were created ex nihilo before the earth ever came into existence.

The metaphor is the friend of evolutionist believing christians

I'm glad you caught that, Gene.

"Macrogravity" is not an acceptable word in the scientific realm; neither is "microevolution."

That's not true.

Microgravity is a standard term in physics and other branches of the sciences. It's just not used in the way you are using it.

Microevolution is also a standard term in biology and other branches of the sciences. Again, its just not used in the way you are using it.

Theories are formed around existing evidence. If there's no evidence, you can't make a theory. If it has a supernatural explanation, we'll never have a scientific theory for it. That's fine, science isn't a philosophy of life, the universe and everything. It's just a tool we use.

That doesn't give science license to say life arose from abiogenesis.

Science doesn't say that. Some scientists say that. We don't have a scientific theory for abiogenesis. (Of course, scientists are trying to see if they can put one together, because that's what scientists do.)

How am I using it, Gene?

Some people, when they look at the Grand Canyon, see a beautiful geological phenomenon.

Others see a terrible rip in God's pristine creation, brought on by sin.
One mind guided by reason, another Stockholm syndrome.

Well, it would appear that I've learned something here.

It seems "abiogenesis" has been plutoed now:

{1.2.1. What do we mean by the origins of life (OoL)?

Since the early 20th century the phrase OoL has been used to refer to the events that occurred during the transition from nonliving to living systems on Earth, i.e., the origin of terrestrial biology (Oparin, 1924; Haldane, 1929). The term has largely replaced earlier concepts such as abiogenesis (Kamminga, 1980; Fry, 2000).}

SOURCE

However:

{In evolutionary biology, abiogenesis, or informally the origin of life (OoL), is the natural process by which life has arisen from non-living matter, such as simple organic compounds.}

SOURCE

Who knows?

This is one reason I say SCIENCE CAN TAKE A HIKE.

This is one reason I say SCIENCE CAN TAKE A HIKE.

I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain sceince to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom that it provides and then questions the manner in which it operates.

There's another line that might be applicable. It escapes me for now. It'll come, I'm sure...

While I'm thinking about it, could you please provide some information as to when an evolutionary process actually stops?

Some people raise their children with such restraints as to be hostages of a sort.
No argument there.

But I think "Stockholm syndrome," as it applies to a child of God, is a misnomer.

People don't go to Hell for believing the Earth grew old over time, but believing that can keep some from being able to worship God at their fullest potential.

Some beliefs allow people to attain mountainous heights of glory.

Other beliefs can only allow a person to soar only so high and no higher.
Do you have any children? if so, do you consider them your "hostages"?
Yep. And you can be damn sure I won't burn them forever if they decide not to have a relationship with me.

You?

Congratulations. Do you instill the Stockholm syndrome in them? (Stupid question ... right?)

Neither will God his children.

You probably haven't read the OT lately, have you?
I'm reading it for the 13th time now (I'm at the end of Exodus). Why?

If you're comparing God's chosen ones to hostages, give it up.

In the Stockholm syndrome, you're taken hostage first, then mistreated, then forge a relationship with your kidnapper.

The Israelites, if they had any reason to forge a relationship, would have done it with Pharaoh, not God.

Just tell them they should be thankful they weren't born Amalekites.

Just tell them they should be thankful they weren't born Amalekites.
Because the Amalekites hated the Jews?

Judges 6:1 And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years.
2 And the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel: and because of the Midianites the children of Israel made them the dens which are in the mountains, and caves, and strong holds.
3 And so it was, when Israel had sown, that the Midianites came up, and the Amalekites, and the children of the east, even they came up against them;
4 And they encamped against them, and destroyed the increase of the earth, till thou come unto Gaza, and left no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep, nor ox, nor ass.
5 For they came up with their cattle and their tents, and they came as grasshoppers for multitude; for both they and their camels were without number: and they entered into the land to destroy it.
6 And Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites; and the children of Israel cried unto the LORD.
