Computers are tools, not props.
I'm going to reiterate my original point, since it's been buried in pointless rhetoric.

And great would be its fall.

Matthew 7:26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Computers are vital today in keeping science looking viable.

And what are found in computers? silicon chips.

And where does the silicon come from? the sand.

Science has been building its house upon the sand for decades now; but it's soon to come tumbling down.

And great will be the fall of it.

Note to lurkers:

This is what happens when someone who has balanced Science with Scripture gets put on IGNORE.

They'll never see the other side of that person's mindset, and so will go through life with the wrong attitude towards him.
It would be nice if our modern luddites could just go find a dirt farm where they could free themselves from all the dreadful science that so confuses and besets them.
Putting someone on IGNORE can rob one of important information they need in order to cultivate a respect for how they think.

And this is called grasping at straws. Silicon in computers is as different as a diamond is to carbon dioxide.

A different blue wall of jibberish, wont make you right.
Computers serve no purpose in keeping science looking viable. Only results can achieve that. Results that don't depend on computers so much as they depend on testing.

Darwin developed the theory of evolution without any computers.

However, he did sail on the Beagle and his feet probably touched sand at some point, invalidating all of his discoveries.

Rubbish it was Tertullian in the 2nd century AD who correctly interpreted the meaning of the verse.
It is a dire warning for an organization renowned for its depravity and evilness; the sandpaper industry.
