This thread needs to be made too..

As for me.. after not being in the mood to game for a while.. I'm starting to develop a new gaming itch..

Right now.. it's mostly multiplayer.. Call Of Duty Modern Warfare (2019) and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2 online.

Smash bros

I used to love that series back in the day. Although for some reason after the Gamecube one.. at least for me.. a lot of the magic was lost.

I've got some issues with Steam that is seriously impacting my game playing. Basically older PC games made with older versions of windows that should play in newer Windows aren't running. If not for that I would be replaying some older games like XCom 1 & 2 and Fallout New Vegas.

Playing City of Heroes, and Mount and Blade Bannerlord the only "new" game.

When I get tired of those will probably start Fallout 4 with a brand new character

And I really enjoy the computerized version of the old Talisman board games of the 1980s+ Kind of a nice long term game when you get sick of various role playing and other games.

I haven't had any problems with X-Com or X-Com 2 since switching to Windows 10, and I have the Steam versions. I may have had to tell them to execute in compatibility mode. I haven't done too much with New Vegas yet, but if I play it again, I will play it with mods.

For some reason I have, I tried reinstalling it, verifying the files etc. I got a IT friend upstairs in my apartment complex that could probably fix it, and would probably do that the next I got some other major computer problem that I need help on.

I'm playing CK III at the moment, but HOI IV is one of my favorite games of all time.

Yeah I was into Crusader Kings 2 for 2 years. That actually is one my older steam games that still works and I got a number of the expansions, to be able to play as a Islamic Lord, pagan, Buddhist and Hindu and Zoroastrian.

I never got into those big World War II strategy games. I did really love the older "Close Combat" games from Microsoft that were based on the Avalon Hill, Squad leader games series. I especially loved the Russian Front.

Both are completely different forms of problem solving type games. I'm not interested in shoot-em-up type stuff.

Interesting.. never heard of it.. but from the videos it looks intriguing. I'm pretty out of the loop when it comes to indie stuff.

I have around 30 games - I get bored easily. :(

For something completely different -

Eastshade (beautiful open world - needs a decent graphics card)
images

Portal or Portal 2 (well known problem solvers)
images

Opus Magnum (building/programming machinery)
One of my favourites
