NYC public school asks parents to 'reflect' on their 'whiteness'
Thought I would just post this and ask for comments......guess I was too stunned to make one myself.....yeah, I know.....that's a first.
Just more of the Marxist Critical Theory nonsense that is now driving the Left. The idea of cultural Marxism is actually no more complicated than "divide and conquer." Fracture the culture into small tribes, all of whom claim persecuted status, encourage them to think their persecution originates with a particular group - in America's case, the "white man" - and then unite the victim tribes in opposition to him, the Great Enemy of the people. Through all of this, bring the tribes slowly but surely under the aegis of the State, which tells them all of their problems can be solved by letting the State direct their thinking and living, protecting them from the oppression of the Great Enemy. Of course, even though history has shown over and over again that the State, constituted of people with wicked, unregenerate hearts, always turns tyrannical, and massive oppression and death are the end result, the dumbed-down, tribalized "proles," largely ignorant of the past, surge to embrace the "utopia" the State offers.
If the Left is allowed to continue to foment its racist, tribalizing, communist Marxism, there will be a blood-bath. This has been the case again and again when Marxist ideas fully take root in a society (Russia, China, Cambodia, Cuba, etc.).
It is bizarre to me how the "persecuted groups" become the perpetrators of the very things they protest. This outrageous "whiteness" stuff is a prime example. Imagine a white professor talking along these lines about a black person's blackness, or an Asian person's "asian-ness," or a Latino's "latino-ness"! It would be called out in the strongest possible terms for the glaring racism it is! There would be riots! Race-baiters Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson would have a hey-day!
Leftist Antifa is another great example of the utter hypocrisy at the core of Critical Theory (aka Marxism). Resist the fascists with fascism! That's their strategy. Be the thing against which you fight. Smash, and burn, and kill until your way is the only way. The Brown Shirts of Nazi Germany, or Lenin's "Red Terror" Bolsheviks have shown the way.
What is perhaps the most incredible thing is how evident the corruption is on the Left and yet people are being persuaded to yield themselves to it. The political "Swamp" is vast and deep and the Left (and Right) occupy it unashamedly and fiercely. The Marxist communism of the Left will only consolidate this political corruption and make it utterly untouchable! When the State has total power over the population, it does what it is already doing in insulating itself from any power that might possibly challenge its own. Rig elections, institutionalize government corruption at every level, make impotent economically (dissolve the middle class) and physically (take away their guns) the "proletariat," kill those who resist (coming soon to a neighborhood near you).
But a society brought under the State's power always eventually degenerates. Creativity is stifled, ingenuity, outside-the-box thought is prohibited, apathy and despair mount under the crushing fist of the State, art and literature stagnate, and so on. History shows this to be true repeatedly. Consider Cuba, North Korea, Venezuela, East Germany, or communist Russia.
I suspect, made fat, and apathetic, and powerfully distracted, Americans will have to come under excruciating and deadly circumstances to move them to preserve the amazing constitutional Republic that has made them a singular and globally-envied nation. But, at the rate things are going, it may be far too late by then to successfully salvage the country.
The CCP waits eagerly for the American Eagle to weaken and fall to the earth so that they may devour it.
