Sometimes the direct approach works best.....good for her and you....when I discovered bruises all over my non Caucasian child's shins in 4th grade, learned the boy across the table was kicking her everyday
told her to tell him to stop but he didn't
then told her to kick him back; she was afraid to get in trouble but I said we'd stand up for her
the day she kicked back was the last time he kicked her
not a joke to my child!
last week, she cried recalling all the times kids targeted her on the bus & at school
mentioning her ethnicity and/or country she was born in
she's come home with big bruises from bites & bruises all over her face (more than once)
NO, not a joke!
my guess kids learned this from parents who are racist
clarify what you mean then because racism does exists
even teachers at the school have treated my child "as less than" compared to white kids
Sometimes the direct approach works best.....good for her and you....
so less not more?racism does exists
Goes to character -- public schools are attacking white students, trying to keep all students out of school, and demanding $130B to consider reopening... doesn't really seem like those questioning "whiteness" are actually motivated by humanitarian desiresWhat does this article have to do with the topic at hand? The teachers were advising the students of the restrictions due to COVID-19 protocols in CA...nothing really to do with the topic at hand.
