Does anyone think it wasn't a photo op? But it was one that made sense. People who have dogs walk them, daily even.

Seeing a President doing things such as walking with his dogs and friendly banter with the press corp also makes him more relatable to the average person. Trump's photo ops were all about displaying an appearance of authority and I believe his intention was to separate himself from the average person.

It is refreshing to see Biden interact with his dogs and his wife with obvious love. It has been missing from the White House for too long.

"pretending to be human" wasn't the kind of photo op Donald was trying for, because we weren't the sort of people Donald was trying to impress.

And yet for some reason, the Confederate flag-waving, SS-tattoo wearing, "6MWE" crowd seemed to like him just fine...

...but that's probably a coincidence.
