All year I've heard nothing from the left but how bad law enforcement is. Ive listened to how burning, looting, shooting etc. is nothing but peaceful.

You're still twisting the discussion away from the thread's topic? The Capitol police were unable to quell the invasion and when the National Guard was requested, Trump's people prevented them from acting.

Stop twisting the thread away from the crimes that occurred in our nation's capitol by a lawless mob that were incited and directed by the President against Congress!!

You do realize that there were not any BLM or antifa people storming the capitol, don't you? The people who criminally invaded the capitol were Trump supporters who did so at his command. I absolutely agree with you. I was simply pointing out that I personally have no great sympathy for the BLM movement (as it's been implemented) or antifa so any such deflection was off topic.

Well, first it was Germany and somehow the US Army raided the building but it didn't happen and the Army has no jurisdiction in Germany. Then is was Hugo Chaves and Venezuela but they found out he was dead, so the obvious conclusion can only be that it was Italy.

Trump *absolutely* "directed" this armed insurrection! He called for them to be in Washington DC on the 6th. He spent two full months *lying* to his supporters about the election being "stolen". He spent *hours* whipping the crowd into a frenzy. He personally called on them to march to the Capitol and "fight" for him. His *personal lawyer* even called for "trial by combat" just before the march to the Capitol began. How ridiculous of you to claim that Trump didn't direct this. He's the ringleader of that violent mob!

We are informed by the media. When the media shows a video of things that other people have done and said it pretty much speaks for itself. When Trump is on video saying things that incite his followers to an insurrection and to want to hang Pence then it pretty much is what it is, it's clear to see. When his supporters are seen on video saying and doing the things they say and do then that's pretty clear also. You don't need the media's commentary to see for yourself what they are all saying and doing.

So demonizing the media as you're trying to do rings hollow. It especially rings hollow because all of your information is coming from the media also. You are listening to media to learn the things you're learning. You simply don't explain why you choose to listen to the media you choose and reject the media you reject. For me, I accept the media that can show me what the people involved actually said and did; I can believe what they're saying and doing because I've seen them actually say and do it. But your stories come from media that guides you without evidence.

We're actually way better off with the technology we have today. What happens is some people, like yourself, choose what to believe and what to reject based on what you want to believe and what you want to reject. Technology is not at fault for that; it has nothing to do with technology and instead what you choose subjectively.

If you really believed life would be much better without technology you would be living off grid. At the very least, you would never, ever post on here again. But you do post on here, very often in fact, so you are apparently very happy with today's technology and seem to love it.

Again, you're trying to steer the discussion away from this horrendous attack on the Capital and those who were in the building: the Vice President, the Congress, and others. This was an action inspired and directed by the President against the decisions made by the majority of voters that he can no longer be President. Please stop twisting this situation into your misguided opinions of partisan politics.
