So you admit that Satan can speak to deceive you or others, but for some reason your God has been gagged.

If any earthly father totally ignored his child like you teach God does, the social services would conclude he was an abusive father, and the child lived in a loveless household.

For over 50 years, my experience of the Lord is one of regular close communication. In fact when I first heard him speaking directly to me, it was a good 10 years before I ever heard the gospel preached.

Now you really are letting your side down. Jesus quoted scripture because Satan was misusing it, so Jesus set him straight. But if you really want fact check how many times Jesus resorted to scripture, compared to when he used fresh language, you'd lose heavily.

Your problem is that while all your scriptures are perfectly true, (how could they not be), in no way do they negate what I have been saying.

Checking scripture is fine if the Lord is speaking to you about doctrine, but for over 50 years, the Lord has been speaking to me about all sorts of things that have nothing to do with doctrinal issues.
I have done many jobs in my time including running my own manufacturing business. The Lord has spoken to me about product designs, financial matters, house and factory purchases, staff membership, problem solving. He has given me countless dreams and visions over the years. He has spoken words in my ear about stuff I could not have known.

I delight in the living communicative relationship I have with the Lord. The idea that God is somehow limited to only speaking words from the bible is so bizarre that it is laughable.

That nonsense puts God's communication skills somewhere below Satan's!

Welcome! God has revealed Himself through the Jewish people long ago. Jesus Christ of Nazareth is God in the flesh who walked the earth and appeared to the Jewish people as their Messiah. The mystery was revealed that He is the God for the entire world and through Him all can be saved. All questions can be answered through His Gospel, the "Good News". Many reject His Gospel therefore questions can not be answered. In other words, if someone wants answers, they need to seek the truth first. Be blessed.

Right, the problem is that not everyone, beginning with Adam, even wants to listen. Even as believers we struggle with this, truth be told. The Master's gone away, so to speak, and we have to decide how much we really need and want Him back. It's been said that it's really us hiding from Him. As Augustine put it, "I found you not, oh Lord, because I was seeking without that which was within."

It's also said that we're not only disconnected from God but even from ourselves in some manner or another, and that the two divisions go hand in hand, as related aspects due to the Fall. And in extraordinary circumstances over the centuries God has spoken directly in some manner or another such that the recipients have been communicated to in such a profound and overwhelming manner that no doubt remains as to the source. This is done at His discretion and for His purposes but is not the norm as we all know-and for the most part God wants us to believe in and seek Him even as He does the initiating in it all. Pleased as He is with faith without the benefit of sight we know that justice, alone, demands our faith in God.

Jesus definitely speaks to us. His sheep hear His voice. So we are to
Listen out for His voice. A still small voice that reminds us of His promises, that guides and directs and corrects us.

Remember that we cannot please God without faith. He Speaks to us through His Word. If you seek, you will find. He has spoken to some directly. Perhaps He will do the same for you.

Seems like the classic answer huh yet it is SO true. I remember when I was in my early twenties asking this woman of God that had so much power of God.. why can't I hear from God? She said because you don't take the time to listen. Its not that easy to "tune" out this world and self. To already have a strong prayer life is a huge key.

I have had many answers from the bible, but those answers are mostly limited to doctrinal issues. For answers in other areas, you need to listen to his direct voice, but you will never hear that voice till you repent from denying it.

By far the majority of words God has given me, would not be found in the bible.
How would the Lord tell me from the bible, the source of a major pipework problem that was delaying the completion of a contract.
How would the bible show me the way to fix the inner workings of a complex engineering machine that kept breaking down and halting production?
How would the Lord reveal from the bible a brand new way of doing a property sale contract, a method that our specialist lawyer had never encountered, but afterwards became commonplace.
How would the bible show me how to find lost property?
How would the bible tell how to design a new product.
How would the bible give me a revelation for a brand new business idea.
How would the bible tell me when to pack up and leave the area, move across country and which exact house to buy in which town.
How would the bible tell me how to do that cash only house purchase when we didn't have enough money.
How would the bible tell me who my wife to be was.
How would the bible tell my wife to be, who her husband was.
How would the bible tell my prophetic friend who my wife to be was long before I even knew. (And she was just a figure in a crowded room that God spoke to him.)

He has spoken, and does speak, to us.
The Bible is the revelation of God and it is from God. He spoke through the prophets and through his Son Jesus, Hebrews 1:1-2, Colossians 1:15-16, John 1:14. He has even spoken through nature, Psalms 24:1, Romans 1:20.
When he was on earth, Jesus did miracles which spoke of God's love and power, said that he was one with God and spoke only the words that God gave him to speak.

It's not about having proof, it's about faith.
Atheists don't believe, and others may be brought up in the faith of their parents, or country.

This is just not true.
We have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ and that sin and guilt has been washed away.
On account of what Jesus did, we can now boldly approach the Lord on his throne

Heb4v14Therefore having a great high priest having passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, we should hold firmly to our confession. 15For we do not have a high priest not being able to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one having been tempted in all things by the same way, without sin. 16Therefore we should come with boldness to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need.

If you don't grasp hold of these truths, your spiritual life will be crippled with guilt and trying to cover your own sins with a fig leaf like Adam tried in Eden.
