• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

I think ive been fighting with schizophrenia the past 15 months but the stuff im hearing is leading me to think to think im telepathic. Throughout the 15 months ive been hearing its too late to come back to God, that ive been damned to hell, and the chruch I grew up in supposedly disowned me. And tbh im starting to believe i am telepathic and if i were, i feel like my walk with Christ has been a roller-coaster despite trying to really to get closer since last December. On top of that ive been getting weird dreams that im not too sure come from God. Im believing in Christ to save me from the end but all the voices i hear in my head offer me no hope, i feel like no one can relate.

I think their is a good chance that you are oppressed by demons. As best you can don't listen to them or pay them any heed. Listen and pray the Psalms whenever you can, along with other prayers from the Bible like the Lord's prayer.

Bible Gateway is great for this. There is a speaker button you can hit and have the chapter read to you in King James and NIV. example.
BibleGateway.com: A searchable online Bible in over 150 versions and 50 languages.: Audio

You also should look into seeing if you can find a minister that does Deliverance/Exorcism ministry in your area.

And yes I'm sure you also have mental health issues and should try to follow the advice of your doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists etc.

You should see a Doctor about this as soon as possible

Lord have mercy. That must be very scary. I agree with the poster above that a visit to the doctor would be a very good idea. My best friend in my teenage years was diagnosed with skitzophrenia around age 16 or so, and today (in his late 30s, after getting on a stable and effective regiment of medication and therapy) he lives a very happy, well-adjusted life with his wife on a small plot of land in Oregon, where he raises pygmy goats. I would never have predicted that he could reach there when we were teenagers and he was living on the street or in and out of the hospital, so I know that having this problem is not the end. You can get help and turn things around. God be with you, my friend.

God IS love. And God loves you unconditionally! Anything you are thinking outside of that is NOT from Him.

Spend some time with these Bible verses that remind us of God's unconditional love; his ever available, freely given love to all who seek it in times of trouble. God's love is the only love that never falters and never fails. Take comfort in your faith and know that God truly loves you, now and forever.

Maybe print this off and when having doubts, feelings of condemnation, struggling etc.
Refer to it!

1 John 4:7–8

"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love."

The Good News: God’s very essence is love; when we love one another, we are fulfilling God’s most fundamental wish for our lives.

2 Chronicles 6:14

“O Lord, God of Israel, there is no God like you, in heaven or on earth, keeping covenant and showing steadfast love to your servants who walk before you with all their heart.”

The Good News: As it was for the Israelites of old, the love of our God is never failing.

Romans 8:31–32

“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?”

The Good News: No matter how your enemies (even satan) gather against you, if God is on your side, you have nothing to fear.

Psalm 36:7

“How precious is your steadfast love, O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings.”

The Good News: There is room for all of us beneath the protective wings of the Lord.

Galatians 2:20

“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

The Good News: The sacrifice of Jesus on the cross was God’s love made manifest. As Christians, we share in the crucifixion and the resurrection that followed.

Psalm 109:21

“But you, O God my Lord, deal on my behalf for your name's sake; because your steadfast love is good, deliver me!”

The Good News: God is ever available, a ready source of help in times of trouble.

1 John 4:9–10

“In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”

The Good News: God loved you first, before you were even born, and the proof is the life of our savior Jesus Christ, who came to free us from the bondage of sin.

Micah 7:18

“Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity and passing over transgression for the remnant of his inheritance? He does not retain his anger forever, because he delights in steadfast love.”

The Good News: Our God is a god of forgiveness, ever willing to offer us a chance at redemption. It is never too late.

Romans 5:5

“And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.”

The Good News: God’s love justifies our lives and fills us with hope for the future

John 3:16

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

The Good News: Even death has no dominion over those who love and are loved by the Lord.

Romans 8:28

“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”

The Good News: With God’s love in our hearts, all our actions will be directed toward good.

John 14:21

“Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.”

The Good News: Our love for Jesus the Son is answered by divine love and care from Father and Son alike.

Romans 8:38–39

“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

The Good News: There is nothing in our future, not even our own deaths, that can keep us from the love of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

John 15:9

“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love.”

The Good News: Jesus loves us, just as God the Father loved him; in this truth we can rest secure and at peace.

Romans 5:8

“But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

The Good News: Though we be sinners, Christ sacrificed his life and suffered on the cross for us. There is no greater love than this.

John 16:27

“For the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God.”

The Good News: Faith and love go hand in hand, as does our love for God and His love for us.

Romans 8:35

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?”

The Good News: There is no calamity — physical or emotional — that can separate us from the love of our Lord.

Ephesians 2:4–5

“But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ.”

The Good News: Our God of love is also a God of life; in our faith we come alive and exist joyfully.

May the Lord bring you peace. Amen.

What you are experiencing with the telepathy is called thought broadcasting. You think others can hear your thoughts and vice versa. Its not true. You can’t. Distract yourself from it whenever you need to. It’s tough but don’t believe them . Your mind is playing tricks on you. Don’t believe that stuff, it’s never to late to come back to Christ. Our walks are a roller coaster and will be until we quit sinning, but we won’t. Get used to it, it builds patience and gets better. Live in repentance too it will get better. Hope and pray. @JpSosa07 Jesus loves you.

Did the doc tell you to avoid ‘nutty’ forums :) sharing is good, but tbh most ‘believers’ will pounce on honest people. I can’t give you any advice about meds etc. except that when I’ve met people in mental hospitals, they’re not all that mad! We can all be a bit cuckoo at times. Y, know...The Lord bless you and keep you sweetheart :) I would stick with Jesus’ words, as advice

You’re honest-that’s the good thing you’ve got going for you. Don’t be discouraged, we’re all on a journey. Jesus didn’t come to judge, but to set the captives free x :)

It’s easy to get discouraged for me with these dang voices nagging day and night. And finding a reason for it is like almost impossible. But He is coming soon one way or another, so I think we should be able to hang in there a few more years. Cuz where we are going will be so much better. Doesn’t that lighten your load just a little?
The scripture would be paraphrased, this life does not compare to the glory that will be revealed in us. So all our suffering will be forgotten and will not be for nothing. If we had a time frame it could be a little easier. Israel will be 80 years old in 2028: hint. We don’t know the day or time but maybe the general year?
