Anyone in SR disagree with Pastor MacArthur?

Yes, I disagree. The description of a pandemic is a wider/global spread of an epidemic, which is a rapidly spreading disease in a localised community.

I would agree that the information being passed out by certain instrumentalities may be corrupted by emotive or political influences.

If I was him, and in his elected area of responsibility and implied authority, I would be asking God as to why He has let this virus loose on society, and why so many nations in the world that claim to be Christian seem to be the hardest hit.

Then I would be saying to we Christians, we must adhere to our government’s directives, even if we don’t agree with them, unless they go against God’s moral laws. I would then say that we Christians, having done that, shouldn’t be fearful of the virus, or of dying from it or anything else, because as Paul said, “absent from the body, present with The Lord”.

The speaker implies that anyone or government can be deceived by the evil one, and he is right!

Indeed we have been played. Don't get me wrong I love Dr.Macarthur. He's a fantastic theologian and preacher. But what he is doing is SO wrong.

I disagree with him on so many levels lately. He's making all Calvinists look like nutjobs right now.

I really liked his previous message "Christ Is the Head of the Church"!

This is the type of message I want to believe in. I would like some kind of confirmation or something on the stats. It does seem that the Democratic shutdown people have overplayed their hand, exaggerated things etc. That was made clear how easily they approved of people violating the stay at home orders, social distancing and even mask wearing "to protest" when they sympathized with the cause.

Its not that Dr.MCarthur isn't a Christian or a competent theologian its that he isn't doing the right thing right now and he's making Calvinists look like nutjobs.

It's one thing to encourage that the church stay open. Its another thing to completely abandon World Government protocol and hold church services without a mask, practice distancing, or use really ANY preventative measures in your church. And then start to act like that quack President Trump by saying the whole thing is a conspiracy. Doesnt the Bible say not to put God to the test? (It does) youd think Dr.Mcarthur would know that... Also tell this to the almost one million people across the globe who have lost their lives how much of a conspiracy this is.

Yes, he is not being a good example, presenting a right way to follow, here.

I think many disagree with you all, Dr. MacArthur is presenting a great example. He has not shrunk back to Satan and does as God commands, we follow God not men

I wouldnt say hes shrunk back to Satan hes done a lot of wonderful work that God has done through him over his life. Hes just... Not setting a good example right now. He doesnt trust the world government and is putting God to the complete test. Basically saying to God "you wont allow us to get the Corona Virus" eventually God is going to respond back and one of his church members are going to get sick. Just you watch. You cannot put God to the test like that. Its just wrong.

I never said he did, Pastor McArthur is a hero as oppressed to this who gave in to Satan and stopped going to Church. The whole virus thing (lock down, mask, social distancing) is a hoax and was never as bad as they say. GOD BLESS DR. MacArthur for standing up for God and shame on those who don't

I'm not SR as far as I know, but I do have a short opinion on MacArthurs words.

I do not particularly agree with what MacArthur Teaches, but I do not have any reason to disagree with what his quoted statistics from the CDC were.

His remarks after giving those statistics went beyond those statistics and fall into the category of personal opinion, not based in Scripture.

That's all

I'm not easily offended and I hope you are not either, but you keep referring to Pastor MacArthur as a 'nutjob' and those who agree with him, you are calling 'nutjobs.' You can call me what you like but you need to stop being so rude about someone who has been so faithful to Christ and the preaching of the Gospel.

You need to repent and stop acting like what you believe MacArthur to be.

Yours in the Lord,

jm
