Similarities is one thing, but connected cultural transfer is another. It is because certain parts of the Egyptian culture were transferred to Central America, and parts of the Central American culture was transferred to Northern America (i.e. pyramids etc.)

Another 200 years go by and this society flourishes and grows and becomes a great nation. The people have the time now to give to humanitarian interests because getting food and shelter is taken care of.

And so they start to dig into the past of this land. They knew quite a bit about the chinese, but they knew very little of the peoples of the south. Just some documents that were uncovered. But the peoples of the north were not known at all, until a treasure trove of hidden documents were found that did not belong to the chinese, or the peoples of the south.

You do realize that cities that have been destroyed, burned to the ground, leave that evidence of being burned down. They have found cities that were burned down, you can still the blackened, charred remains. Even in this country they found ancient ruins of indigenous tribes, they do leave behind things that don't completely burn down--even trinkets, jewelry, bones, pottery. In Norway they have found weapons only heard about, but now they have found them. Viking swords, even money. All over the world there are artifacts being dug up---Africa and China. And in tiny little countries like Costa Rica.
They have discovered literally layers of previous buildings on top of even more buildings. All the scans they have now show even more. Even Satan knows where these buried cities are. If God wants them found, Satan can't hide them. God will override. In God's timing, He shows what He wants. So, whether it is God or Satan that has kept your people buried -- they are still buried. Seems one or the other of them would want them found.

The civilizations of the BOM killed each other off entirely - millions of people vanish without a trace. POOF! Your north, south, china, current story does not fit the BOM narrative. So, lots of words that say not much of anything.

If you had read the BOM you would know that there were 2 major peoples.
1) the Jaredites 2300bc - 600bc - Olmec peoples of history

The Jaredites/Olmec did almost completely annihilate each other in a civil war. Their battle results were present years after and are commented on in the BOM.
After 2600 years, in that climate, you would not think to find much of that great battle or of their civilization (which was taken over by other peoples).

The Nephites and the Lamanites battled until almost all of the Nephites were annihilated, and the Lamanites went about destroying any information about the Nephites which they hated.

So no POOF!, but 2600 years of climate rot.

So "the civilizations" of the BOM did not kill each other, only 1.

I have over the years shown you enough evidence to at least wet your interest. If you have sincerely read the BOM without bias, you would know that it is true. But you have not, and you will not. So there will be no evidence that will be enough for you.

We will have to wait as usual and see what science comes up with next. But even if a mural of Jesus Christ was uncovered that dated to between 33ad to 50ad, you would not believe it. So I am not sure anything more can be said of the subject.

Just remember that before science said that there was a more ancient people than the Mayan people, the BOM said there was. The BOM said where these ancients came from, how they got here, and who their kings were. It also explains in detail why they disappeared.

Just remember before scientists said that there could have been ancient ships that carried people from the middle east and europe to America, the BOM said it, and gave details as to who built the ships and how their voyage here. Science fought this whole idea until just a few years ago because it interupted their Bering Strait explanation. But the evidence beccame overwhelming and they finally had to agree with JS that the ancients had the ability to come to the Americas by ship too.

There are lots of interesting scientific evidences that the BOM said first before science said second, but let science lead the way now to new evidences that will be interesting to see in the future.

The genetic research is only at the beginning. The first try to research for Jewish markers in genetics was flawed. (I would have to read John Lund's book on Mesoamerica again) He says that the researchers found evidence of Jewish DNA long before Columbus, but discarded it, believing it must have been a speciman from after Columbus. (Every body knows there were no Jews in the Americas before Columbus, right?) So how could a genetic research project, payed for by people who wanted to prove there was no Jewish people in the Americas before Columbus, come up with the opposite conclusion. (Everyone knows there were no Jews in the Americas before Columbus, right?) The payed scientists had to come up with the right answer. Who knows what these scientists really found and did not report. John Lund said his research shows a lot of mischief in the whole first projects.

Besides the people of the BOM were not Jews in the first place. They were not of the house of Judah of the 12 tribes of Israel. They were of the house of Joseph and more particularly of the house of Manasseh, Joseph's son. So the marker would be a different for them.

Anyway if you are trying to prove by genetics that the BOM is true or false, you will not be able to do it. Who knows from 580bc to 1500ad who these people mixed with and how that affected their DNA, especially after 400ad, and 1,100 years before Columbus. Genetics will not work in your favor or mine.
