This is a video explaining whether or not the Egyptian pyramids were built before the flood of Noah's day. It also deals with issues with the accuracy of the Hebrew Masoretic text verses the Greek Septuagint, the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Tower of Babel, the age of the Earth, an extra Cainan in Jesus' genealogy, and the identity of Melchizedek - not in that particular order.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Conclusion:
The Jews distorted their own Bible in their attempt to disprove Christianity. But it really just made their own religion look stupid. So now it appears that the pyramids were built before the flood, that there wasn't enough time for the Tower of Babel event to have taken place, and that Shem outlived all his sons and grandsons. But thankfully God has preserved His Words in the Greek Septuagint, which was considered the Christian Bible in the days of the early church. And it preserves the original Hebrew...except for when it doesn't (the Greek isn't always perfect either).

I personally believe that it was before the flood and part of the reason why God flooded the earth :

Well in the video they explain how the Septuagint OT chronology (The
DRB/English Vulgate OT is similar to Brenton's translation of the Septuagint) is different from the Leningrad/Masoretic OT chronology and the Leningrad/Masoretic was corrupted. BTW I linked an Orthodox Christian website. You might be interested to look. I might repost it later albeit I probably already posted about the erroneous Masoretic text

My head hurts just watching the video. All those explanations and etc. are only understandable to the narrator. lol

We all know what happens to things when it's submerged in water, what more salty sea water. We all know that the pyramids are not empty. They are full of artifacts, dead kings, dead cats, and mummies. How come they are not water damaged at all. We should see the evidence of it. But, there's none.

So, yes, the pyramids were built after the flood.

Outta here.

Didn't you know that aliens knew how to make the pyramids front doors air tight?

Of course they were built after the flood. The secretary of Housing and Urban Development, Ben Carson, has made an important discovery:

Republican presidential hopeful Ben Carson believes the Egyptian pyramids were used for grain.
In a college commencement speech 17 years ago, Carson told the graduates of Andrews University in Michigan that it is his "personal" belief that the pyramids were built as storehouses for grain and not, as archaeologists say, for the interment of dead pharaohs.

"My own personal theory is that Joseph built the pyramids to store grain," Carson said in taped remarks first reported by Buzzfeed on Wednesday. "Now all the archeologists think that they were made for the pharaohs' graves. But, you know, it would have to be something awfully big if you stop and think about it."

Ben Carson's theory: Egypt's pyramids stored grain - CNNPolitics

The only problem with that, is that the pyramids are almost completely solid rock, with a few narrow tunnels and a room or two where the pharoh was interned.

Not that this is about reality, but at least Carson's story is interesting.

I believe the pyramids are sitting on strata deposited by the flood.
The blocks are cut from sediment deposited by the flood.

I find it rather odd that a person presenting themself as a Christian would ask...what flood.

There are actually quite a few Christians that do. I am in full agreement with the following:

Rabbi Brian Zachary Mayer wrote ~~~ I do not take the Bible literally. But I take it seriously. To take it literally would mean that I believe that every word, as it is written, was spoken by God. I cannot do that. But I can and do take it seriously. To take the Bible seriously means to examine it in its time and for the culture in which it was written. I want to offer up a very handy distinction that can help in our understanding of the Bible. That distinction I would like to make is revealed in the two words: true and truth. True is if it actually happened. It is a fact of history. Truth is the moral. It is the actual essence of things. I do not believe that most of the biblical stories are true stories. But I sure do believe that they are truth stories. It doesn’t matter to me if the Red Sea parted or if Noah had an ark. I don’t care if Jonah was swallowed by a whale or if that’s not necessarily factually so. To me, the great meaning of these stories has nothing to do with whether they’re historically accurate or not. Whether Jonah slept or didn’t sleep for three nights in the proverbial halibut hotel does not take away from the moral of the story – that it is human nature to run away from the things that we don’t want to do. I don’t believe this historically happened. I don’t believe Jonah was swallowed by a great fish and brought to the bottom of the sea-world after not doing what he knew he had to do. This is a truth story. Not a true story. This is a story about humanity, about me, about the troubles we get into when we don’t do what we should do and about how it will bring us down to the very bottom of our existence. It’s a truth story, not a true story. And if we look at the miracles in the Bible as truth stories, what we learn from these stories will be liberative for us. In this important way the Bible can be a very liberating force in our lives. If we read the Bible in this way we will probably fight less with what we read in the Bible. Moreover, seeking the "truth" of the stories can allow us to have meaningful conversations with people who might read the stories to be true stories rather than truth ones. The truth aspect of the story offers a place of connection between myself and those who read the words literally.

To me, the Flood narrative is just such a truth story.

Before I watched this video some time ago I was convinced that the pyramids were built before the flood. But I thought the guy who produced this thing made an excellent case. He convinced me. I believe he nailed it.

One reason is that he united the Biblical and secular Egyptians. It makes no sense to have one set of Egyptians mentioned in the Bible and another presented by secular historians. History is not divided into secular and holy. There is only one truth. And this guy makes the most sense.

No.

I believe Joseph built them.

Genesis 41:49 And Joseph gathered corn as the sand of the sea, very much, until he left numbering; for it was without number.
