Right. You at least need to hold a gun to their head. (that works) - lol

Which is exactly how Damnationism works. "God has a wonderful plan for your life. Receive the free gift of eternal life. Or choose to burn forever in hell if you prefer." (no pressure) "You could die at any moment, so don't delay. Because then it will be too late." (then you're toast)

LOL are you serious?

So the choice is..

Accept that God died for your sins.. pretty simple
Accept that you have sinned..... pretty simple
Give Him the worship that He is fully worthy of... ouch.. does that hurt you.. not me...
Live a life trying to be like him... oh the humanity....
Tell others about Him... cause... really why would you not.....
Basically do nothing of your own power.... but acknowledge your creator...

Or... burn in hell...

WOW.. tough choice there...

It's like a guy holding a gun to my head and saying.. Get on this plane and go to an all inclusive resort for the rest of your life.. or I'll shoot you... wow.. let me think for a second....

HaHaHaHa...

Are.................you..............serious?

Actually.... No One Deserves Heaven....
Who's your Daddy?

If your neighbor was torturing people in his basement, would you defend his good character?

Those that don't accept Christ.. and reject Him and His gift of salvation.. will be seen as unrighteous and be totally consumed by the fire....
Hows that for universal justice...

Only the blood of the lamb will save us from that fire.. If you didn't ask for it... You won't have it..
Again... I think I have heard this before.

Psalm 62:11-12
One thing God has spoken,
two things I have heard:
“Power belongs to you, God,
12 and with you, Lord, is unfailing love”;
and, “You reward everyone
according to what they have done.”

What was your point here?
Here is what you said, which I quoted. Got it now?

Some even stating that "Hell is where all the fun people will be"..

Do you suppose God is big enough to handle that sort of criticism?
Or does he have white hot fury reserved for any who oppose him?

You stated the Judas could be "corrected or restored"..

Just how is that not earning his way into heaven?
Correction and restoration is not earning anything.

Nope.... nope.... nope...
Children who are not of an age that they have reached a mental maturity of being able to understand and consciously be responsible for their actions... do not go to hell...
Nor does anyone that never attains a mental ability to be held accountable for their actions and eternal place.
Do you spank or discipline a child for soiling its diaper? Throwing it's food on the floor? Pulling over a lamp....
Nonsense.. Neither would a God who personifies love.
Those who enter eternity outside of the presence of God... are there as beings fully aware and conscious of their just judgement.
The Bible clearly addresses this.
Romans 4:15
15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.
Romans 5:13
13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

WOW.. tough choice there...
You are the one going on and on about a relationship not being forced.
And about all those who have rejected Christ. Tough choice? Seems so.
Countless billions according to Damnationism.

You can nope, nope, nope till Father's cows come home. Little innocent children grow up to be full grown sinners, the product of Adam1 and disobedience. It is called depravity (doctrine of original sin) or the "T" in Calvinist dogma.

But fear not!

The many "made sinners" = the many "made righteous."

That is the Theos equation.

This meant an entrance into a kingdom prepared for them from the foundation of the world. This kingdom was not to be some far-off land of ivory palaces, golden streets, beautiful mansions, white nightgowns, wings and harps, where there is nothing to do and all eternity to do it in. THIS IS A KINGDOM. And because it is a kingdom it denotes rulership and advancement of all kinds. It indicates the bringing of a great many people into a higher realm in the Spirit than they have ever known before. It means WORK and RESPONSIBILITY and a place of ministry and authority to bless.

But the people who had never done all these things mentioned by the Lord were separated unto the left hand of God! They received no kingdom. There were no rewards for work done or attainments reached. Rather, they were set on the dark side of God, they were put under a kingdom and under authority and they were placed in a process of fiery judgment to receive correction. There is much subtle truth in these words of Jesus: "These shall go away into everlasting punishment." The word punishment is from the Greek KOLASIS which means simply that - punishment. But it comes from the root KOLAZO which sheds precious light upon the nature of the punishment. KOLAZO, according to Strong's Concordance, bears only two shades of meaning, namely, "to curtail" or "to chastise." To "curtail" means to restrain as a person is restrained in jail or a child is restrained when he is "grounded" for a week because of some disobedience. "Chastise" has one simple meaning according to Webster's New World Dictionary: to punish in order to correct, usually by beating. It should be clear to any thoughtful mind that the subject here is not meaningless, sadistic, unending torture, but PURPOSEFUL CORRECTION.

When you pay for something, you have every right to it.
You don't buy two cart loads of groceries and leave with half a bag full.

Christ paid the death penalty for the sins of EVERYONE in the whole world.
Therefore, they are rightfully his, and your foul doctrine CANNOT take them away!

It is so sad that you and EBY defend your position by philosophical and not biblical arguments.

My understanding does not rest on the translation of everlasting, forever and ever or eternal. I know what that word means. It's an indefinite amount of time.
We know that life will have no end after the restitution of all things, because the last enemy to be destroyed is death. Also, how does that work? If the lake of fire which is the second death, lasts forever, then how is death destroyed?

Also, eternal life is not a what, but a who.

Joh 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

You can be fluent in ancient Greek, ancient Hebrew, Arimaic, immerse yourself in Jewish custom, and still understand the scriptures.

1Co 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

Perhaps you could explain to me the meaning of "comparing spiritual with spiritual" since it's obviously the key to understanding the scriptures.

Cheers!

Simple! Many people have great learning in the languages but are not spiritual so they reject the concepts or teachings of the Word.

And then there are believers who butcher the Word because they are lousy at grammar, languages and context! Being abeliever is essential to know the One who the word is written about, but you still need to know how to read the pages correctly or you will fail in understanding the truths being taught to live them in the spirit.

What does the "everlasting" part mean in the Greek?
Great question.

Matthew 25:46 Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
And these shall go away to punishment age-during, but the righteous to life age-during.'

Everyone is not all saved, and not all go or make it into heaven.
Salvation is based on the FINISHED work of Jesus Christ.
Unless that work was somehow deficient, then everyone for whom he died is indeed saved.

1 John 2:2
He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins,
and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
