The only problem with flat Earth theory is the Moon cycles... when we have a half Moon, but even then, we can see the "dark" part of the Moon that it's less illuminated. If you take the flat Earth model with the Moon and the Sun, there's no way to explain why we have half Moon.. and full Moon, when we can see the side that it's pointed towards us...

For a flath eather to find the truth, there's no need to go in space, just fly from one side to the other side and find the edge, even better, use a boat and find the edge.

Why would you try to define curvature in terms of area rather than length? It's 8in per mile; not per mile squared, which makes no sense.

My Navigation teacher in Ships Class always used Isaiah 40:22 "He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth" to prove that the earth is round, And since you cannot "sail over the edge" with your ship, that makes plenty sense? Also how on "earth" would a cow patty suspended in the Universe not totally get blown abouts?

Don't we need the center of gravity (oh another point I guess) and all that. Everything is in such delicate balance - why would all planets be beautiful orbs and we would be a Pancake? Why is our moon round too? Being round is so much nicer! So many amazing ancient scientists have figured this out so long ago, with scientific proof that I find it baffling that there is still ANY debate on this.

Plus all the pictures we have of earth and all that stuff... I feel like people just wanna have something to argue about, something to point at the devil and give him some extra creds.
