No Bob, because I studied a subject in geology when I was at university. We covered the ice age and the evidence for the ice age left behind by the massive glaciers.I claim they don't... I claim we can already see we had a very big ice age many centuries ago and we can already see that today we don't have that much of an ice age at all.
Did you miss that?
Yes Bob, the planet is warming and has been since the last ice age.
The problem is that that warming is accelerating at an alarming rate now. Mainly because more than one hundred countries are now striving to catch up with the developed western nations.
So their pollution and green house gas emissions are through the roof. Not hundreds of millions of people demanding power and agriculture. Think billions of people wanting more and more power from coal fired power stations.
Their commercial and industrial capacity is expanding at a tremendous rate and so are their dirty emissions. No emission laws in developing countries.
The real problem is that this planet cannot support an economy the size of the USA and it's emissions, and their demand for resources. Multiplied by ten or more times.
The ships, the trucks, the cars, the jets, the demand for electricity multiplied in the tens if not a hundredfold more times.
The mathematics does not add up, something has to give. And we can see the cracks forming already with a climate reacting to the enormous emission of green house gases.
