How do you feel about climate change? Is it affecting our world negatively?

Every time I complain about the cold I remind myself that while I don’t like it other organisms need it.

I have every belief God has the matter in hand. I don’t belabor every challenge we’re dealing with. Nor does He bring them to my attention. I give my prayer and focus to the things He lays on my heart.

God has a solution for every malady and problem we face. He distributes burdens, callings, and passions with intent. And if the matter isn’t pressing my spirit it is certainly impacting those He’s touched.

I agree labella which is why God allows scientists to figure out Nature so that we either don’t make these destructive mistakes or we can recover from and adapt to them . So far we’ve learned to adapt by exploiting nature and we’re starting to wise up about not doing that ( well some of us are anyway)

Those of you who have fallen prey to the fear mongers, socialists, statists, and various and other sundry who have their hands in the pockets of the taxpayers in order to enrich themselves and control human beings around the world would do well to read Jeremiah 17:5-8.

Human beings are not having any effect on the climate. Any climate changes that are observable are natural and mostly caused by what is going on with sun at any particular time and with the varying orbit of the earth relative to the sun. Recent studies with respect to co2 have shown periods of higher co2 levels than now and the weather was colder rather than warmer. The aforementioned is actual science, not propaganda.

. I’ve got a biology degree so I’m not saying this on faith nor am I relying on other scientifically illiterate opinions . I can see some of it . Direct observation! I do understand that making unverifiable claims is how some religious people get knowledge but scientists are different. When Scientists make claims they have to demonstrate it with evidence not just spout mere words . And journalists making claims in family magazines isn’t evidence.

With due respect, do some of you think that scientists are idiots? I hope not. Yes, of course there are various cycles that cause the temperature of the Earth to rise and fall over centuries. HOW do we know about this ... because scientists discovered them. Therefore scientists are well aware of the historical cycles. The current warming of the Earth is happening despite those cycles ... it is a new and different phenomenon. Thousands of scientists have worked hard to verify this ... the whole scientific community is in general agreement about Climate Change. The only issue now ... how much change and how quickly.

When I was a boy, many decades ago, I liked to read about the North Pole. Great stories of exploration. It was a frozen wilderness. I never imagined that in my lifetime the North Pole would melt. The entire polar cap ... gone. That is practically what is happening now each summer. It is astonishing. The N. Pole is turning into a giant slushy every summer. Ships can sail through a north passage in the Arctic Circle ... and they are.

How much evidence do you need?

I verified in the survey that I believe the climate changes, I did so and that is verifiable by both science and througth reading the Holy Scriptures... remembering the whole of scripture is inspired/authored by one person of our Triune Elohim, Yashuah ha'Mashiah known to most by the Greek interpretation of His Name, Jesus, the Messiah. (John 1:1-5)

Climate Change is, falsely, presented as an unusual and dangerous event! The Jewish Immigrant moved from the greener portions of the Earth into the desolate, British designated, Palestinian Area, the small and useless portion of the Middle East that was a small portion of the land rich with Milk and Honey, a land that producded grapes so large two men were required to carry a single stem of them.

That land, empty wilderness, is, today, being, manually, transformed to it's pre-climate change condition... by my Jewish Brothers and Sisters.

There is so much to learn about in the above words. Let's try the KISS Principle on this, though.

Take your choice, YHWH, Yashuah or Ruach, they are all one Elohim, gave many times larger, this land and if we follow YHWH we owe Him our complete loyalty but if you do not accept everything He has revealed to us, get out of His Church and on the way to the Juke-Joint, that other god's church, pick up a new bottle of 101 Wild Turkey to pickle your brain with. But stop dividing your loyalty.

Climate Change is a recorded fact from about six thousand years ago and up through today. Problem is perception is a, stone, case of loyalty so which person is your loyalty owed to?

Tat Old Dragon has sought the status of Creator Elohim from before our origin. YHWH causes the climate to swing, much like a pendulum, marching back and forth.

It all boils down to one question, "Who is your god, is He God or is he just another god?"

how would you know that climate change is cyclical since you obviously don’t understand basic middle school science . You got that from an (gasp) authority figure who you assumed gave you correct information .
I’ve never met a creationist yet who does understand that their authority figures are usually wrong

Mid Pacific islands that are almost underwater at high tide like Vanuatu, is not scientists “ saying” this. These are obvious even to laymen. The changed USDA gardening map that tells you the earliest time put out your seedlings safely in the spring is on the back of every seed packet. Global warming isn’t a scam or a hoax ,it’s real and if you know where to look ,you can see thru the lies of oil company misinformation and disinformation that was so widely disseminated in earlier times . They deliberately targeted the religious fundies because they tend to dislike scientists already .

Let's face it, to measure temperature to the accuracy necessary to determine the warming or cooling of this massive planet.. to fractions of a degree... your not taking information from more than a couple of 100 years ago. Thermometers were just not that accurate and it was not that high on a priority.

Enter the age of information... Now, you can control a massive population with simply stating that something is true and backing it with "science".. People heart it..... trust it.... .and run like scared rabbits..

Then, anyone that comes along and says "HEY... wait just one minute... I don't agree.. Not so fast"..... Is a denier.. and other condescending names.

If people just took whatever was fed to them... and ate it.... the human race would have died off long ago.

While your changing our worldly climate... would you mind slowing down the rate at which it is spinning?

1/ You have about as much ability to change the climate of this world as the rate of rotation..and
2/ I have way too much stuff to do in just 24 hour cycle... 30 hour days would free up those extra hours that I need.. I bet lots of people would agree.

This all deflects my point rather than denies or refutes it. There is undeniable bias that infiltrates much of scientific research - including this business of climate change. Again, I think the propaganda this highly-politicized matter has generated should provoke the careful, thoughtful person to acute skepticism in assessing the "scientific" claims of either side.

We are in a cooling trend as far as the planets natural cycles are concerned and about a few thousand years from now we’ll be heading towards another ice age . The warming caused by CO2 is a lull in that process . Having said that, the high CO2 levels are not good for the current planet as a whole .

No, I don't think that scientists are idiots.... They know that if they start presenting data that shows no warming... their funding, grants and cushy jobs will end... as for their tenure, credibility and reputations...

you’d have to cause a lot of earthquakes to do that . The 2004 Boxing Day earthquake that devastated the countries around the Indian Ocean changed the earth’s rotation speed .
