Hi Its been a month since I felt like I blasphemed the holy spirit. I said 1 corinthians 12:3 I didnt say it out loud but my tounge tried to word my thoughts and I do believe that was enough for the holy spirit to leave its been a month and I have gotten prayer from almost everybody I possibly can and I still dont get convicted when I sin, I dont feel God at all whatsoever when I worship him, I get no revelation when I read the word its like Im not even Gods child and I have lost the word from working on me, I dont hear God at all I dont sense the spirit of God whatsoever I dont even fear God the way I need to , I pray and its like im talking to myself I just dont umderstand whats going on & I truly felt something leave me after it happened and I never Got it back? Its been a whole month and I am certain that I lost the holy spirit and I dont know what to do?? I dont even get dreams anymore I dont even feel condemnation or guilt its like everything has been snatched from me?

Sometimes we don't "feel" God, at all.

Some forms of Christianity place a lot of emphasis on feelings, emotions, elation, personal revelations, hearing from God, etc.

But our actual spiritual lives are often pretty quiet. If you can not *feel* convicted, ask God to help you to avoid sin, love Him, and honor Him. Ask for His forgiveness when you fall, and keep going.

God be with you, Serenity.

The holy spirit is ou comforter were supposed to be comforted by hik at all times , the holy spirit also convicts us so that we can repent and turn from our wicked ways and become righteous, the holy spirit also tells us the things to come we need him and he guides us without any of that we are nothing. Im also supposed to be operating in the fruits of the spirit love, peace, joy, self control and etc that is how we know the holy spirit is at work in us because we are operating in the fruits of the spirit and i dont operate in not one something is extremely wrong. The evidence is all clear that the holy spirit is not with me, no matter what we do the holy spirit always lets us know he is with us

were also supposed to feel his presence when we worship the holy spirit is there to remind us how real jesus christ is , yo are never supposed to not feel God at all thats not normal at all jesus loves to show his children that he is real and he speaks to them through scripture and other ways without any of that we wouldnt know that he is real he watches his word to perform it and the word lets us know everywhere that we can feel God jesus also lets us know wats going on in our hearts so that we can grow in him. God definately pours his love out on us and there is also a scripture that says knock and the door will be opened seek and you will find to all those who seek with there heart there is also a scripture talkung about how jesus draws nye unto us and he draws us near to him all that want him the fact that I dont have not one thing telling me the holy spirit is with me is a problem a big problem

God loves you.

Dont let satan try and make you believe otherwise. Stay true to your faith in God whatever you go through.

Keep your focus on God my friend. You are going through a dark time in you faith. Now is when you truly have to believe in God more than ever. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Persevere. Dont give up on God no matter how hard it feels.

God bless and protect you.

dear sister, this is more common that we would like to believe. I was praying earlier, and I started getting these angry thoughts toward God. Then I prayed for revelation into God's blessings on my life, the anger slowly went away. I have these thoughts more frequently than I would like to admit, I believe ultimately man's carnal flesh rebels against all authority, and fights against God. It's a war romans says. But ultimately if you have repented, and recommitted to Him. Even if this happens multiple times a day, God grace will forgive. Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit I believe is when someone has a life long rejection of the spirit of grace. When someone does not believe the message of Jesus, the Holy spirit is who takes offense. This is the one sin that does not have forgiveness. All other sin has forgiveness. I believe that someone can curse out the Holy spirit demonically but this is simply the sign of someone not saved. IF someone has anger, or accidentally blasphemes God, I don't think God will say "this is unforgivable." Rather again, it's the person that says "I can sin all I want, I am proud of my LGBT lifestyle, or my adultery, or my idolatry." That person the scriptures warn of apostacy. But there is no sin that is unforgivable. The Bible says "though a rightous man falls seven times, he will rise again."
-proverbs. Basically we know the difference between the works of darkness and a child of God by this....conviction. If you feel bad about what you are doing, if you are discontent with your lifestyle and seek to be a better person, then that is a sign of life. If you are however proud of your sin, and blasphemy, and hate God and loath Him. Then later on you are not sorry for this, but you are still stuck in your rebellion, with no conviction at all about it. Then that is the sign of a dead person. I am not talking about feeling the holy spirit or feeling saved. I am saying, if you are not proud of the way you are living, then that is a good thing. That is conviction, and that is life. Look at it this way, if you have a corpse and you lay a 100 pound weight on his chest, it won't move an inch. But if you do that to a person sleeping, they will instantly wake up and push that weight off of them, they are uncomfortable with the conviction of that weight. If you are reacting the Holy spirits conviction they you are a saved child of God. I recommend furthering your salvation by reading the Bible daily, and obeying it. Don't forget to thank God for His wonderful grace and salvation often.

Dont be fooled by the devil. Dig in and stay true to God. However rough it gets. Juest remember that God loves you and He never ever deserts His children!

As a Catholic, i would seek spiritual direction myself. Guidance from my priest.

Have you a pastor or priest you could seek advice from?

Serenity you are getting the same replies as you had last time you posted this, but none of them really healped you.

Here is another angle to look at: maybe what you received as the Holy Spirit previously was not, and part of the deception you are under because of it, is the removal of it to your distress.

So maybe look again at what constituted the previous reception of the Holy Spirit. Are you a charismatic?

Sorry but i disagree 100% with what you pastor said.

Many Saints have felt what you feel. St Theresa of Calcutta did for many years.

The devil will try all ways to separate you from God. To mess with your faith and mind. It is at these times that we have to push harder as we trudge through our hard personal desert in life.

Jesus carrys you while you are carrying your cross.

I myself have had a bad 5 years or so and through it all i have never ever given up on God. Yes, the devil may have won many battles but he ain't never going to win the war.

Be patient. Be strong. Be confident that God has His loving arms open to you. However lonely it feels.

God bless you

well there is such a thing as apostacy, and when it happens there is nothing a human can do to reverse it hebrews six says. However with God all things are possible hebrews also says. The fact that you are here talking about it is a good thing. But fear alone is not enough to reverse it. There must be repentance. Now that does not mean being perfect. For instance, there are all sorts of addictions, there are sexual addictions like inappropriate contentography, there are chemical addictions like drugs, or alcohol. And normally with an addiction, one cannot quit cold turkey. There are many cases of quiting cold turkey, I admit, but most cases are not that way. As long as there is progress repentance can take a long time. For example, if you still desire salvation and God in your life, try sinning less. You say you don't care, and are immune to feelings, but as you slowly repent, one day at a time, one sin at a time. The Holy spirit will return. I had three addictions before recommiting to God this last year, and God has delivered me from all of them. I still mess up, but the more sins I repent of, the more sensitive I become to the smallest of sins. It's a life long journey. We will never be perfect, but we will slowly be perfected. God does not curse us because of sin, it's our sin itself that curses us. Sin has been defeated by the cross. But the affect of sin still can cause death temporarily. And eventually sin can deceive us into not believing in Jesus anymore. Last week I messed up and I sinned, then soon afterward I was mad at God because I believe He would punish me for my sin, as I was praying I realized that God created the universe to be sensitive to sin. When we sin, the sin itself is rejected by the universe. The universe attacks sin. And when we are righteous, the universe blesses us. God has programmed the universe this way. Yes God can overide those programs, by giving mercy and grace, or by allowing more punishment, but I don't think He unduly punishes, after the cross that is. His very own son was punished. So I believe He is more apt to have grace and mercy. That has been my experience. So really when we sin, we are just hurting ourselves, it's not God doing it. It's us. and when we continue in sin, there is a point where that sin can decieve us into not having faith in Christ anymore. But as long as you still believe, you have time to repent and to turn. I believe even after apostacy, God can turn someone, if people pray for them, and fast. But the key is, do you want salvation more than you want your sin?

How could people blaspheme the Holy Spirit? I think that it happens then humans to deliberately to harden self. Then human is abandoned because of he/she ever don't regret. If people afraid, they couldn't blaspheme the Holy Spirit. We are getting worried about many things, but God is faithful.

My message is short because I try to write so about is easy to understand.

You don't sin only because of hurt. Sin is pleasurable. But it's a temporary pleasure. Your hurt and your pleasure make sin too hard to resist. The only problem is that sin will return on your head. Sin only knows death. And the universe will make sure that all sin is judged. it's not God judging the sin, it's the universe kicking back against unrighteousness. When I have sinned purposefully the last few weeks, my sin quickly brought death, and I could see the results of my sin practically destroying my life, I pray you see that result quickly. Here, Let me pray for you, dear Lord I pray for my sister. I pray that her sin returns on her head and breaks her to the point of repentance. We know that you chasten your children, and you prune the vine so that it will bear more fruit. So cut out of her life the things, the friends and the sin that is keeping her from you. This is only something that you can do. In our rawest sense, we cannot repent and turn to you, so I pray you grant repentance and cover her. Allow her to turn from the rut she is in. And save her life. In Jesus name amen.

But that deep down hurt, can only be healed by Jesus. That hurt that you think was caused by God can only be removed by God. If you turn now, and never follow God again, you remove the hope that those scars can be healed. You will forever be bitter against God, and your joy will be permanently robbed.
