God is in control.

He gave each of us a free will to follow Him or reject Him. So our destinies are in our hands, not His. Otherwise, we're just robots, programmed as he chooses.

Think. You are responsible for yourself; that's how He wants it to be.

You fear freedom, because you fear personal responsibility. So you want to blame God for everything. It's not going to work for you.

Taking personal responsibility for one's self isn't paranoia. It's just doing what God expects of us. You can't abdicate that responsibility. What men do, is not God's fault; He gave each of us free will and a conscience.

You should start using them.

That's exactly what you implied.

Nope. The idea of you being personally responsible for yourself scares you. So you tried to evade it changing what I said. Man up and take care of yourself.

The news media loves and so do a lot of Democrats. But why? She recently cost NY $24.5 billion in tax revenue and 143,000 jobs over 10 years as her and others got Amazon to scuttle plans for HQ2 in Long Island City.

Her Green Deal is a joke that would cost $53-93 trillion over 10 years.

She's basically a 15 watt bulb in a socket that requires 100 watts.

Why is the news media making such a big deal over her? I don't get it.

Clearly she makes those dems around her appear somewhat sane, if that be possible.

I like her because you just can't put that much crazy in one bottle without it spilling. She is spilling.

Between her and the anti-Jew girls in the House, the next generation of dems have made their mark!

The difference is, they aren't saying "Heil Trump" (or whoever). It might not mean much to you, but Trump's wagon, loaded as it is with the KKK, Nazis, white supremacists, etc. is kind of a problem for most Jewish-Americans.

Go figure.

Go figure.

It no longer matters what they "say". Members of an audience can be photographed with their hands raised and it becomes a "Nazi rally" when the wrong people control which caption is placed under the photo.

Remember the photo of a graduating class? The photographer told everyone to wave, and then the picture was taken. Then the photo got the "hate" treatment by the MSM.
12_boys_nazi_salute.w700.h467.jpg

See, it's easy to label a photo however you want it labeled:

HEIL HILLARY!!!
hilary-clinton_796598a.jpg

"Hillary Clinton gives Nazi salute after attending a 'Nazis for Hillary' rally".

Not difficult at all. Now, if I were working for the MSM, I could make something like this front page news. Of course, then it couldn't be Hillary who was the subject. It would have to be one of her enemies, of course.

It does to anyone who cares about the truth..

For example:
hilary-clinton_796598a.jpg

So that picture is presented as the same as this:
maxresdefault.jpg

"It doesn't matter what they say"

Well, yes, it does matter.

See, it's easy to label a photo however you want it labeled

Notice that it wasn't necessary to label the Trump supporters. Guess why.

Yep. They really are Nazis. And that's the answer to Ingraham's question. If those folks support Trump, it's really not realistic to expect most Jewish-Americans to support him.

I've noticed how "truth" is something that gets reinvented quite often, depending on who's telling the story.

Catholics collaborated with Nazis, so Catholics are Nazis. I don't even need a picture to make the giant leap, like some are fond of doing.

It is farcical that any christian who wanders by is now a racist, deplorable, nazi, fascist (right?), and probably kicks puppies.

Apparently christians should just off themselves according to some.

How do you propose to "reinvent" this?

Nixon's idea what that you could toss the white nationalists and Nazis a scrap every now and then, and they'd loyally follow. Now, they run the republican party, because the republicans can no longer win without them.

I don't, as I wasn't claiming to be the one trying to reinvent the truth.

There's that reinvention I was talking about.

(Barbarian shows that that Trump is supported by white nationalists and KKK organizations, and asks how that can be "re-invented")

I don't, as I wasn't claiming to be the one trying to reinvent the truth.

But you're trying.

Notice that the American people strongly differ with republicans on the issue.

Patrick Casey blended in easily with the buttoned-up crowd at the Conservative Political Action Conference held outside Washington, D.C., earlier this year.

His boyish face was clean-shaven. His brown hair was close-cropped. And he shuffled between the networking breakfasts and panel discussions wearing a maroon sweater, matching collared shirt and crisp khaki pants.

But despite all outward appearances, Casey, 29, wasn't like all of the other Republicans at CPAC, the largest annual gathering of conservative activists in the U.S.

He wasn't there only to champion conservative causes. Casey had ulterior motives: to covertly spread the message of the white nationalist group he leads.

As the executive director of Identity Evropa, Casey is on a bold mission. "To take over the GOP as much as possible," he told NBC News.

Republicans Turn White Nationalism Hearing into a G.O.P. Pity Party
Democrats hoped to investigate how hate speech spreads on social media. Republicans just wanted to “trigger the left.”

Owens went on to argue that white nationalism is a Democratic trope invented to “scare black people,” and that “the myth of things like the Southern switch, the Southern strategy . . . never happened.” (The Southern strategy, infamously articulated by Reagan adviser Lee Atwater, was a Republican electoral strategy to capitalize on racial animus to siphon white votes from the Democratic Party. It is not only well-documented, but was so pervasive that then-R.N.C. chairman Ken Mehlman apologized for it in 2005.) At one point, apropos of nothing, she promoted her own Blexit campaign, an attempt to get African-Americans to leave the Democratic Party.

Already a controversial figure in her own right, Owens grew even more radioactive after a New Zealand white nationalist gunman named her as an influence in a manifesto he published before attacking two mosques last month, killing 49 people. (“Each time she spoke I was stunned by her insights and her own views helped push me further and further into the belief of violence over meekness,” he wrote, though he added that some of her “extreme” positions were “too much, even for my tastes.”)

It's no coincidence that the two pillars of the Donald Trump coalition are Southern whites and Northern white ethnics. These groups were loyal to the Democratic Party through the massive expansion of the federal government under the New Deal.

Political-science research shows "ethnocentric white voters" tend to look negatively at government programs for the poor, but they are disproportionately likely to favor programs aimed at the elderly. Relatedly, a lot of white voters were happy to vote Democratic when they saw big government as serving the interests of their own ethnic group but shifted to the Republicans when they started to see government as working to help mostly others.

Trump correctly realized he could win this kind of white Republican voter by becoming a demented version of Richard Nixon, turning the dial up on ethnocentric appeals ("they're rapists," "Islam hates us") and turning the dial down on the government-slashing (no Social Security cuts because he'll "make us so rich").

This has horrified a great many non-Trump Republicans, many of whom are ideologically committed to small government or Christian morality and are sincerely (if naïvely) surprised by the power of white identity politics within their party. Some of them even say they do not want Trump's voters in their coalition.

But what is the alternative? Without the Trump voter, there is not a majority coalition for an antigovernment policy agenda.

Republicans may not like being in bed with Donald Trump. But they will need to retain his fans' favor unless they want to either drastically change their policy agenda or lose elections by landslides.

Republicans would be screwed without racist voters

(warning: mild profanity)

I notice how divided among party lines your little survey shows it to be. Just because democrats overwhelmingly have a certain opinion that lines up with the MSM's narrative doesn't make those opinions "facts".

Yep. Only 26% of republicans think Trump has done too little to distance himself from the racists. But 56% of Americans think he's done too little to distance himself from racists. Republicans are less than half as likely as Americans to think so. Huge gap between republicans and Americans.

Just because democrats overwhelmingly have a certain opinion that lines up with the the American people's opinion doesn't make those opinions "facts". Nor does the fact that Americans overwhelmingly think Trump has done to little to distance himself from white supremacists have any legal basis. It just shows you the result of republican pandering to racism.
